I did not have an issue with the actual shadow; however, the packaging was scratched up. I was purchasing this for a gift, but since the packaging was so scratched I did not feel comfortable passing this along as a gift. I took pictures, but I am not exactly sure whether the scratches show well in the pictures or not. I decided to keep this one for myself (did not take much convincing to do so) and I will purchase a different one for the gift. I am also including a picture of the eye look I created (smokey eye) with this eye shadow. It is the darker brown color closer to the lashline on the lid. It did look a little cooler and darker than it appears in the picture and through the packaging. I had no issue with that. It still looked rather pretty. Review: This is so lovely to use after trying Maybelline Color Tattoo which is like a hard crayon. This product is a nice, smooth powder that goes on easily. Stays on all day - no creasing. The other thing that is very nice is that once you open the cap of the container, there is an inside plastic piece that sits on the powder. Keeps it from cracking or getting loose like some powders do. I'm going to buy other colors!

I fell in love with Amber Rush and got this to complement it. Wonderful color and long lasting. My only concern is the quality of this particular batch...the product isn't the same quality as when I purchased it in a brick and mortar store.

Amazing color! You can make the product light or heavy just by the application process. It’s great and is my all new go to eyeshadow. It lasts for more than 24 hours if it has to be!

I use this brown eyeshadow to set my brown eyeliner. The eyeliner is already waterproof, but this gives it a softer look when I use a very pointy brush to go over my bottom eyeliner. It doesn't take very much eyeshadow to do this, so I still have plenty left. I just decided to buy a second one for when my original one finally bites the dust and I'll have a brand new backup.
