V8 Original 100% Vegetable Juice, 12 fl oz Bottle (12 Pack)

I use this in place of tomato sauce in red sauce, souped & other things. It gets the kids to eat their veggies without knowing they’re eating them! It is good for any red sauce with a seasoning packet or from scratch. Great product. Taste good and is healthy for anything that needs a good red sauce or tomato sauce.

I have been drinking V8 Vegetable Juice virtually 3/4 of my 62yr old life. At one point I had to lay off salt because of high blood pressure and my heart, but then V8 came out with lower sodium and we were back together like “peanut butter & jelly”. It’s got so many good things packed into one little glass, and if that wasn’t enough, it’s also an excellent method for getting kids to eat more veggies. My mother often used V8 in recipes, like spaghetti/pasta sauce, soups, chili, pepper steak, stuffed cabbage even her own variation of “spanish rice”. V8 has the flavor that works to build good taste in all types of food. I find myself buying several bottles at a time on Amazon, because it’s much healthier than soda, and the price is better also.

i had been buying a generic brand tomato juice and putting cayenne in it to make it hot. i saw this on amazon and thought i would give it a try. i love the heat, just the right amount - although i sometimes add just a touch more when i really want a strong bite. i was worried the added veggies would take away from tomato taste but to the contrary, it adds another depth of flavour. delicious with ice pieces to make super cool. i just had a glass and immediately had to have another it was so good.per oz was cheaper than store brand tomato juice and i don't have to add heat

I'm on a low sodium diet (1500mg daily, doctor's orders) and I love V8 but it has very high sodium levels. This low sodium variety has less sodium and I can have an 8 ounce glass of it and only get 140mg of sodium. The saltier version tastes better but this is almost as good without so much sodium.

The 32 oz bottles of this was reasonably priced so I made a switch.

I like the consistency.
