The item is a really handy one if you are screwing and unscrewing a lot for furniture items. The only downside is that the rotation speed is not really high. But for the price, this is a really helpful item to have in your toolbox.

Needed dependable product

When you don't want to pull out the big guns , this is an amazing alternative. Small, lightweight yet it still gets the job done. Assembling IKEA furniture w/out damaging it, small woodworking projects, computer cases , hanging pictures ... it's the right tool for the job. Not suggested for heavyweight projects -- not because it will fall apart, it just doesn't have the power. Hobby and crafters will love this, as I do.

Your tool is NOT defective! At first I thought my drill was defective too. Out the box it looks like it has no drill bit head holder. But after researching and reading the online manual... you are to UNSCREW {loosen} the head at the tip..... stick the end of the drill bit in the nozzle then SCREW {tighten} the head back. Then you will see that the tip is in place and DOESN"T fall out . The head has to be tightened and untightened in order to stick a drill bit into the head where the "chuck tip" looks like it should be. Hope you find this helpful!! I was expecting this to be junk, but for a little drill to hang pictures or assemble furniture, it works really well. Don't expect to build a deck or do construction with it, but for what it's intended it works. It's small, light and perfect for anything you'd need in an apartment.
