Review: Great little box, but you have to use the right cables! - I bought this to connect 2 4k monitors to a Mac at 60Hz and a PC at 30Hz and hooked them up no problem with some HDMI cables I had round the house and it worked like a dream. Well, sort of. I noticed I'd sometimes get some intermittent flickering--something other reviewers have mentioned--but I investigated and it only affected the Mac but stopped if I dropped the refresh rate. The issue was not the switch but rather the cables, one or more of them just didn't handle a 4k 60Hz connection. I replaced the cables with ones rated to 8k (or 4k 120Hz) and the switch has been solid as a rock since then. Some might argue that it should come with cables, but I disagree, even though I fell foul of it. This is a cheap box and really, you want to choose the right cables for you, length etc so I think this is good. You just need to know that if it flickers, it's probably your cables rather than the Switch.

This Ugreen HDMI Switch 4K works well especially switching from TV,DVD and PS4 I have had no problems with it and it was great value

Bought as a replacement for an old splitter that had an intermittent signal that I used to connect my PC and Nintendo Switch to my TV. It works very well and was easy to set up as the sockets on the device are solid and it feels well built. I also think the picture quality is better using this, with colours seemingly popping off my screen. The only issue I've found is that I use the number 2 socket for my Switch and if it does an update it seems to revert back to the number 1 socket, so I have to press the switcher button again to get the signal back, but that's just a minor issue. I'd also prefer to have all 3 sockets on the same side for ease of placement, but that's just a personal preference.
