Why did you pick this product vs others?: Works great on lake weeds. Unfortunately expensive and takes a full bag to do the job.

Seems to work on curly leaf pondweed -- especially when treated early enough (about 50F water temp).

DO NOT WASTE that much money on this! Ended up having to clear my area by hand weeks later due to VERY little results from this product !

I wasn't expecting to have the product look like "kity liter". Small and granular. I was surprised by this, but may be my fault by not reading the description in full. I found that because of the texture of the product that it was really hard to get the correct amount on the weeds. It did kill SOME of the weeds. I'm sure if you were to take a handfull and actually poor it on certain areas, it would be pretty effective. We just didn't think it killed the weeds as we thought. We did the product quickly.

Very effective on seaweed
This product is fabulous. The seaweed that was at my shoreline is almost gone after one week of application. I thought I would have to pull out by hand the treated seaweed upon it turning brown. We have a bit of a current in my channel that is just washed away. I thought the pricing is quite reasonable, my neighbors have spent far more than I on their products to rid the seaweed.
