It blew up!
I tri I tried to minimize the heat on the fitting I was sweating it into. I had to reheat to repostion and it popped out of the fitting. The piston inside is no where to be found. All that was left was 2 O-rings on my bench. It blew out of the fitting about a foot in the air.
