Jardin Artificial Plastic Decorative Long Leaf Grass Plant for Aquarium, 9.8-Inch, Colorful

This decoration was well worth my money. In person, the colors look a bit more reddish than they do purple, but it is still quite colorful and vibrant. I felt the plant around before putting it into my tank in order to make sure there were no sharp or rough areas, and I did not find any. The plant feels more like rubber than plastic, which is better in my opinion.Be warned, the decoration is quite large. I included pictures of it within my 20 gallon tank, and it fills out quite a bit of space. I would not place it in a smaller tank (10 gallon or below) unless you plan on it being the central piece within the tank. My goldfish is about 3 inches long, and he seems tiny compared to the plant.

When I took it out of the packaging, my first thought was "You've got be kidding, what a cheesy looking clump of plastic".I decided to give it a try and put it in my aquarium. After a few minutes of rearranging, I was very surprised with how nice it looks.I put it in the back of the aquarium and strategically placed some shorter flowing white plants and decorative rocks in front of it. The cheesy look is gone, the vibrant contrasting colors are the perfect accent that gave my aquarium a rich and classy look.

This is a great decorative plant! I needed a bunch of new decor to fill a 50 gallon tank, and big plants get expensive fast. I was really excited to see this one, and it's even better in person. It looks exactly like the picture, very vibrant colored, with some nice detail. The base is very sturdy and good quality.It makes a very nice medium level "centerpiece" plant in front of all my long flowy ones, and my fish seem to really like it.It is quite stiff and a bit pointy. I don't have any fish with long fins, but I'm not sure I'd use it if I did. Other than that, can't go wrong!

I'm amazed at some of the negative reviews here about how "fake" it looks. Well, excuse me - yes, it does look fake, just like the picture. What were you expecting? LOL :)Beyond that, my plant is in the Betta tank and he LOVES it.Swims through it, hides under it, sometimes plays (charges) its leaves, sleeps on it.Perfect!No funky smells to report and it's not spiky / damaging to a Betta's fins. In fact it's thick, almost rubbery in nature. It's about 10" at its highest point, just as listed here.Looks really cool under blue light (moonlight).I will add photos later.

Okay, this goes in a fish tank, what all can be said about it?Never know what you will get buying this type of thing online. This piece is actually pretty nice. Base seems heavier duty and more solid than what we have been getting at Petsmart, though I have never compared things there all that closely.Overall happy with the purchase. Plant looks just like the picture. Base is nice and heavy and solid. Looks good in the kid's betta tank.

It's definitely bigger than I thought it would be. They take up quite a bit of room in my 10 gallon tank but they look awesome! They do look exactly like the picture. I know some were complaining about it being poorly made or smelling. I bought two of these and both are in excellent condition and smell just fine. I haven't experienced any issues with the quality. My Glofish tetras absolutely love them. I catch them sleeping in these plants all the time. This was a good buy and I would recommend them to others!

My only concern was, after removing it from tank, one of the smaller clumps came off of the base while I was scrubbing algea off the leaves. This seems to be a very common problem for aquarium accessories. I just pieced it back together with some hot glue. I've had to do this multiple times, but the plant itself it too beautiful to be too upset by the quality. A good buy, just be careful when washing.

I also purchased two of these plants and they came very fast! I placed each one at both sides of the tank. It has a heavier base and anchors well in the tank. I laughed at amusement as I watched the bettas stare at it for several minutes and then dip into these plants. They were taken by the colors of the plants and use them the most now. I've also noticed my rasboras and minnows playing around it. I purchased it for its bushiness as well and it has been a great and beautiful addition to the community tank.

Brightens up the tank nicely, though I would always have live plants as well as.
