The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Leather-bound Classics)

It's an attractive book, inside and out. At 1,375 pages, it is mildly hefty but not cumbersome. Inside the front and back cover is a nice depiction of the great man's face. The cover has a soft, smooth feel to it. It feels good in your hands. The pages are edged in gold. The book has an attached ribbon to keep your page marked. As for what is written inside, well, it's Shakespeare. It is nicely written and easy to read. It looks real fine sitting on your bookcase or table. And it is most reasonably priced.

This leather-bound Cantebury Classics book is THHHick, and at that price? 5 stars simply isn't enough. Cantebury always produces a great book, we have quite a few Canterbury's and all of them are amazing quality.

Awesome book! Print is a good size, but the only problem is with the gold cooler pages, they are a bit sparkly so I’d you run your finger across them you get gold sparkles on yourself. Other than that, it’s exactly as described!

William Shakespeare's words always kept my attention when I was a young man. Actually took an elective in high school for a class on Shakespeare. People thought I was nuts, but I loved reading him then, now I have the chance of reading him again... Thank You

Todas as obras de um dos maiores nomes da literatura mundial, em um só livro. Isso é, sem sombra de dúvidas, um espetáculo. É claro que, como esperado, as letras são bem pequenas. Porém, não é impossível de fazer a leitura. Pelo menos eu não achei. O livro é excelente, tanto esteticamente, quanto em relação ao conteúdo. Concluí minha leitura de Hamlet e alguns dos sonetos e, até agora, nenhum problema. Vale muito a pena, principalmente se levarmos em consideração que uma edição de obras completas de William Shakespeare aqui no Brasil custa, facilmente, o dobro do que está custando esse livro.

I had this Leather Bound Book on my wish list for sometime - not that I am a big Shakespearean fan but am building a leather bound book library - and could not believe the price I was able to get it for. The book contains as indicated the complete works of William Shakespeare (both plays and Poems) and if you are a literary student, some one interested in all of Shakespeare's works or like me building a library of great books this book might be just what you are looking for. I have seen some of his complete works books go for hundreds of dollars and while this book can go for a pretty penny, sometimes you can get it for a great price. It is a book worth displaying in any Leather Bound Book Library and great for budding Shakespearean Literary Researchers. Overall a book you just got to love - hated Shakespear in Highschool (lol) but now retired have time to really come to understand his works (particularly love his "Much Ado about Nothing" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream").
