I have polyarthritis in two of my fingers, and using this for a couple minutes every day helps maintain some hand strength and dexterity. I won't lie, it hurts like hell after a while but it keeps my hand from being useless. This particular device appeals to me because of the individual springs, and the firm cushion on the bottom that helps keep it stable in my hand. The motion is smooth and the fit is very comfortable. It jumbles around in my purse a lot, but still hangs in there, so its durable.
