Fox Run Polished Marble Rolling Pin with Wooden Cradle, 10-Inch Barrel, White

This replaced a 25 year-old marble rolling pin. Typically when I buy a new version of something I've had for awhile, the quality feels different--usually worse--but this was not the case. It's heavy, and the handles feel like they'll hold up over time. I used it for the first time yesterday on a pie crust, and it performed well. The price was great, and it looks great as well!

I had an old wood rolling pin that had a big divet in it and was concerned about bacteria in the divet. We all know how bacteria can grow on wood utensils. I bought this marble rolling pin as I know I can clean it well eliminating those concerns. I wasn't sure if I would like it but I do love it. It's beautiful and well made. It is heavy but that weight actually helps roll out pie crusts and other dough very easily. Clean up is a breeze and it's so beautiful, I don't mind it sitting out on my kitchen counter in the wooden holder that comes with it. I would recommend this as it's the last rolling pin you will ever need. I'm a happy camper!

While this is a bit thinner in circumference than I expected (I did not read the description carefully), it does everything I need it to do at a reasonable price compared to other marble rolling pins. I tried one of the French metal ones before getting this one--glad I sent the metal one back and got this. The marble is smooth and even--no nicks or cracks, and it works beautifully for rolling pie dough. It is also pretty and giftable, and the slightly smaller circumference (compared to my ancient wooden one that I was replacing) does not bother me at all. No sticking, and easy to clean, too.

I love it. I do wish it could be a few inches longer

Bought as a gift for my husband who does a lot of baking and he loves it. He says it’s very sturdy and much better than the wood one he was using previously.

I logged onto my account to find my rolling pin as my daughter is getting married and asked about mine. I’ve had this for 9 years. I went through multiple rolling pins before I bought this one. The marble is a good weight for rolling out cinnamon rolls, tortillas, and pasta. I had a wood one and a KitchenAid one that just weren’t heavy enough. This one is a good weight. Cleans up easy. I’ve had no issues with it. I take it on a road trip when I go to my mom’s house because her rolling pin is awful. She doesn’t like to cook that much anymore so no point of buying her one.

Great! But slightly heavy

Prior to this I had a cheap dollar store rolling pin, but I had bought my mom a $50 marble rolling pin that she now adores. Of course I wanted one after years of beating mine into submission. This is so much cheaper, but just as wonderful. It has the weight so you don't have to work so hard to roll things. It is super easy to clean, just give it a good wipe and its fine. Additionally marble itself has some natural antistick to it, so when I forget to re-flour my roller it doesn't make a giant mess. I know some other reviews say theirs came broken, I gave mine a good look over when it arrived and found only what looked kind of like scratches - really light in color. But further inspection revealed that it was just part of the marble pattern that there was a thin white line. Couldn't be happier, also like that it has a 'stand' so it doesn't roll away, makes storage a little easier.

Absolutely lovely marble rolling pin and the weight of it makes it so much easier to roll out a dough without the added pressure. Looks gorgeous on my counter top
