I got this for my 4 year old boy. No sensory issues, I just knew he'd enjoy playing in it, and he sure does!The 4 buttons at the top are easy enough for him to snap and open by himself. It feels cool to the touch, which he loves.I got a medium, but almost wish I had stuck to the sizing chart and got a small. He isn't quite long enough to make it stretch much, but he loves hiding inside, and as fast as kids grow, it won't be long before he can enjoy it as he should.I don't recommend letting kids walk on hard floors with it, as it feels very slippery. My son likes inching around in it when he's on hard floor, and thankfully, it doesn't attract pet hair. Already washed and hung to dry, and didn't have any issues with that, either.

Bought this for my 5 year old and it’s perfect, the neck depending on his position does pull sometimes but isn’t that big of an issue as he just adjusts.Highly recommend. He doesn’t have any known sensory issues but it helped when he was going through a stage of throwing outrageous tantrums for two weeks straight. I noticed two separate times he hid under a blanket tucked in and visibly I could see he calmed and regulated when in that tight of a space. A little coaxing at first when in that state he calmed immediately.

I guess I would suggest sizing up. I got a medium for my 7 year old and it does tug some at the neck. My 7 year old likes this a lot but I would have gone up a size.

My child didn't seem to know she was inside and easily pulled her arms out and popped the buttons open. It certainly did not have any positive sensory or calming effect that I hoped for.

The silver is a great color. This is a standard body sock. Everything we expected!
