Secret Clinical Strength Invisible Solid Sensitive Antiperspirant & Deodorant, Unscented 1.60 oz

Hooray, it’s back!!! This is the Holy Grail of deodorants and I was so sad for 3-4 months when it wasn’t available. I still hadn’t found a good replacement for it when I noticed it was back. It is super effective, does not mark your clothing and has no fragrance to compete with the fragrance you intentionally put on. I am so happy it’s back, please don’t discontinue this one-it’s absolutely perfect!!!

I need the extra sweat protection that clinical-strength antiperspirants offer. The BEST EVER such product was Sure MAX Clinical Power, which of course, Sure stopped making. I still have a container from 10 years ago, and it still works perfectly. I have also used Certain Dri, which works great, but they don't make unscented, and I don't like the powder scents they do have. Unfortunately, Secret Clinical Sensitive Unscented no longer works for me. I used it successfully for about 4 years. I got to where I only needed to apply it twice per week because it worked so well, even when washed off the next day (although when it gets wet, it smells horrible, so obviously not scent-free). I don't know if they changed the formula, or what. I had to stop using it in April because it smelled SO horrible, even when it didn't get wet, so I threw it out. The smell reminded me of when a lawn is mowed, but the grass left behind starts to decay, only 1000 times stronger because it was under my arms - so not BO, this was the smell of the product. I decided to try it again in August, just to see if I just had a bad container. I purchased a new container, and applied that night. The next day was the same horrible smell, so I had to immediately wash it off - which is not easy to do. Since I don't want anything with a smell, I'm not going to bother trying other scents in this line. The difficulty is, it seems that Secret has the corner on the clinical-strength market because nobody else seems to make a clinical strength of unscented antiperspirant. But I'll keep searching.

Women don't like to admit this, but sweat. Well, I do, anyway. I also HATE scented deodorant, and most of it is. I found this and it not only worked well to keep me fresh, it's free of all the perfumes and dyes. It lasts a long time, and now I won't use anything else. The only reason I gave it four stars is that It is a bit expensive, which is why I bought the three pack. I will also note that it is more expensive than what I consider the male equivalent (it's like if you put the word "women" on something, you automatically get charged more. This is not just this brand - it's really all products made for women. No extra ingredients -- just a premium for the luxury of purchasing something that's labeled for women. I consider that really interesting, since we are generally paid less than men for the same job (why are men not paying more?) Anyway, I digress. Despite the above, this is a good product, and it's the only one I use anymore.
