Honey or Smoky Flavor
If you do not amplify it then it is honey flavored. If you amplify it to get its natural state of smoky and woody then it pairs well with a butter pecan cake. It apparently pairs well with maple syrup and toasted nuts if that helps anyone.

Sooo rich!
This has a wonderfully rich flavor / scent. It reminds me a bit of Mexican vanilla but amplified x 100. I made the Browned Butter Chocolate Snickerdoodles from the recipe on the Nielsen-Massey website and they were great.

Great stuff
I bought this for baking and itโs exactly what I expected.

Best vanilla for those important desserts
This vanilla is potent, but not too strong. A small amount is sufficient. It definitely makes a more flavorful final product. If the cost is a bit too prohibitive, then use another vanilla for a multi-ingredient dessert and keep this one for the fewer ingredients. Let it shine.

Expensive for 8oz
This went way too fast, like the brand's other 8oz vanilla extract. There is better value for your money elsewhere. Check your local grocery store or Target and find something with a better price per Fl. Ounce.

The best extract hands down
I actually like to bake with the Mexican vanilla extract as the pungent vanilla scent will not entirely cook off in the oven. This one - the Indonesian - is mellower and excellent for sauces and adding to cremes. Yum!

Incredible!
I had no idea that vanilla made in different locations had such different flavors, but it's so true. This Ugandan vanilla has a chocolate-y cast to it that is just amazing. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't actually taste like chocolate, just has the note of it. It's wonderful, well worth a try.

Delicious!
Delicious flavor. The Tahitian vanilla bakes great but is also a really great (better) option for items that do not need baking.
