Designer Lap Desk – Aqua Trellis, Fits 15.6” Laptops

Cute, stylish, comfortable to use, just the right size. The additional features are all extremely useful - the corner elastic strap to hold papers/book down, fabric handle for carrying, the bar in front so your computer doesn't slide off, and the slot for a smartphone that is very well thought out (it is angled so that the phone leans back slightly but doesn't tip over or fall out. This costs a little bit more than an average lap desk, but all the extra features are worth it. Color looks just like in the listing photos.

I loved the look of this lap desk when I saw it because I knew it would perfectly fit with my bedroom decor. My biggest concern was based on the product photo, which looks like the desk has a flat foam cushion. I am most comfortable when I can angle the lap desk, so I really wanted a beanbag base. I read through a bunch of reviews and finally found one that made it seem like this lap desk had exactly that, so I took the chance and am so glad I did! I am so comfortable using this. It stays put on my lap, sits at a nice angle, and holds my phone perfectly. The small lip at the bottom prevents books, tablets, and e-readers from sliding so that you don’t need to hold it. The elastic strap in the corner is a nice little feature that can hold papers, pens, or in my case, my book tabs. This is well worth the $30 it costs!

Such a handy little lap desk. Love the holder for my phone and the elastic holder across the top to keep an item from sliding. Pretty print and perfect for sitting on the couch instead of at a rigid desk.

This review is for a LapGear Lap Desk (Small Model w/slot for larger tablet) Summary: The smaller LapGear lap desk is compact and lightweight with a beanbag-style base fill and smooth top surface. It features a lip to hold papers or a tablet but lacks a cup holder and has limited space for larger items. NOTE: I was unable to review it for odor, but another model from LapGear did have a mild fragrance odor that could probably be off-gassed outside for a couple days successfully. Pros: + Lightweight and easy to carry + Elastic to hold papers + Smooth surface ideal for drawing or writing without texture interference. + Handle for portability Cons & Suggestions: - Too small to function comfortably in a wheelchair setup. - Cushion does not contour well to the lap; possibly overfilled — but may be because of plastic. - Extremely smooth top makes items slide easily; a grippier surface would prevent items from sliding off - No zipper access to adjust the fill amount. - No cup holder for standard mugs Overall Impression: A sleek, portable lap desk suited for tablets or light use, but less stable and less spacious than the larger version. Ideal for light writing or tablet tasks but not optimal for adult wheelchair users needing stability and space. MIGHT be useful to a child who does not transport their own food and needs support holding an AAC device.

I should have bought this years ago. Instead of using throw pillows from the sofa on my lap... I now have something that actually works well and I don't have to worry about dust getting into the laptop internals thanks to the wooden flat surface. The band on the side works great to hold the power cable in place. The plastic bar at the bottom does a good job of keeping the laptop in place. The bean-bag type material in the cloth base does a good job of forming to however I'm sitting or using the laptop at the time... cross legged, sitting flat footed, on the arm of the sofa. I'm actually enjoying this much more than I thought I would.

I’ve been using this literally no joke every day since I’ve gotten it. It makes doing art, writing, honestly anything in general where you need a flat surface so much easier. I’m chronically ill, which makes me usually stay on my bed a lot due to how my body not being the kindest to me when I do things a lot 🥲 it is such a perfect size for me! I love that I don’t have to keep it only on my lap, I can put it onto my bed and it still offers a wonderful flat surface. It’s honestly such a nice thing to have and makes it easier for me, it’s not heavy at all, I can put it on the side of my bed and it doesn’t take much room when it’s put away like that. It also has a hand strap, so you can move it without trouble. It has a good size of padding in it (this is likely just me but the actual fabric isn’t my favorite BUT not a deal breaker!) Genuinely so glad I got this! I debated for a long time going through SO SO many different ones of these, and ended up picking this one, and I’m glad I did. Highly recommend!!!!

Very sturdy. It fits my lap perfectly.. The left corner holds the pages of my book down so my fan doesn't blow it closed. It's very efficient and I love the clean, polished wood look. Amazing.

Cute but solid lap pad! It doesn’t feel heavy on my legs, but it’s not light enough to move if it gets bumped. I like that it has a band at the corner that holds things down, I use that quite a bit for writing/drawing utensils so they don’t fall off. The little slot fits my kindle perfectly so I don’t have to hold it up when my hands start to hurt. Overall highly recommend!

I've got two of these now. The microbeads in the cushion allow for a comfortable and level fit on your legs no matter how you're sitting. The phone holder is convenient for a phone or for an external SSD. The only downside is that it's not very wide, so there's very little room for a mouse (which I don't use, so no issue for me).

It would’ve been so pretty but it came damaged because it’s not sturdy. For the price I expected better quality.

Awesome size and quality lap desk that I use to eat my dinner on and watch my iPad. Love it!

Daughter wanted a lap desk to be able to do homework on and this one fit the bill. She can use it for paper work or using her iPad. She finds it keeps her phone in place and her iPad and finds it comfortable while laying in bed. Nice finish and seems to be pretty strong.
