Yorkshire Worms TIGER COMPOST WORMS - Suitable for Composting and Wormery Starter Packs (500g)

My Worm Order arrived much sooner than stated, I was really surprised but very pleased, they were well packaged and had enough compost in the bags to keep them happy .... lovely looking worms large, juicy and lots of them ... so far so good ... I couldn't see any fatalities and to my astonishment they were quite lively I thought they would be sluggish after their journey through the postal system, they're borrowing down nicely in my wormery now, and I'm looking forward to some lovely worm castings and worm tea to keep my veg garden healthy and organic.

The worms were fine but I was expecting some fibre to keep them happy till the wormery took over.

So, I recently got my hands on some Tiger Worms from Yorkshire Worms, and I have to say, they're pretty impressive. These little guys are nature's compost creators, and they're perfect for quickly turning organic waste into nutrient-rich compost. They're easy to care for and mix well with other species, making them the ideal choice for a wormery starter kit. They arrived healthy and happy, packed up safely and securely by Yorkshire Worms. Now, I've never bought worms via post before, but I have to say, these Tiger Worms came really quickly, even though the postage said later. The only downside was that they came quicker than expected, and I hadn't set up my compost bin beforehand. So, I advise others to make sure you have your setup ready before the worms arrive. Overall, I'd definitely recommend these Tiger Worms to others. They're great for anyone looking to set up a wormery and start composting. Just make sure you're prepared for their speedy delivery.

I keep and cultivate many, many plants. I spend a fortune on substrate etc so I thought, yeah I might not have a garden and yes I live in a top floor apartment but hey, I can still create my own mini composter. The worms were beautiful. Honestly, I never even thought about worms or their colour but these guys were so lovely with a strong stripe - does that matter worm people? Is that a good thing? Anyway they arrived on time and in sleep comas which is standard and were packaged with lots of care. I followed every single instruction from the seller but also from research I’d been doing for 3 months. I gave them a home and they seemed to thrive. Honestly, I think they multiplied. Sadly, due to me being an utter knuckle dragger, and ignoring advice I had heard repeatedly, I spotted the inevitable ‘little black fly’ I decided to rehome the worms. So I basically bought some worms (from a brilliant seller btw) to actually put them back in the earth from whence they came. I built a safe area in the surrounding tiny garden downstairs and put them into the soil. But I recommend this seller. Delivery was on time. They were better than described. Clear instructions and those boys were big and fat and became really active.
