Imo they are higher quality than moleskin. They offer more than moleskin journals. I love the pocket, labels, and two sewn in bookmarks it includes. The gridded pages are my favorite and the paper quality is excellent. Pages are thick enough that I have never had any bleed through. I’m always able to write on the other side. Review: This is a really nice journal. - This item arrived via desertcart Currier in perfect condition. I had to run my son to the Dr. in an emergency just moments before the currier was due to arrive. They kindly put it on my stoop which was fine because I live in the country. And they even took a picture of it laying on the stoop and sent it to my computer so I would know it was delivered. That's a great thing. I love the Leuchtturm1917 notebooks. I use them a journals. This one is kind of a berry color, just lovely. The paper is very pleasant to write on with fountain pens. In my experience the Leuchtturm 1917s are sturdy and hold up all the way through many months of use. I keep a piece of blotting paper in the envelope thingy in the back of the notebook. Its elastic keeper band is sturdy and I like the two ribbon bookmarks, one for where I left off in the book and another I use to mark a page where I test a fountain pen if it needs a little nib polishing. One of my favorite things is the cream color of the paper which is not only attractive but cuts glare as well. Some feel that the cream paper affects the color of their ink but that isn't an issue for me. It's hard cover is nicely made with the Leuchtturm embossed in small print on the outside of the back cover. It has index pages at the beginning which I use for brief notes on important things I want to see at a glance. There's no bleed through with most inks and only a little ghosting which doesn't bother me when I move to the back of the page. This notebook is quality, usefulness and attractiveness at a reasonable price, especially if you get it from desertcart. ## Features - The A5 MEDIUM notebooks are the perfect size with a wide range of colors making them ideal companions for all walks of life β€” this notebook series is perfect for midnight ramblings, daily entries, thoughtful reflection, careful chronicling and illuminating life stories - Thread-bound to open flat which helps make reading the contents easy and adds efficiency to note-taking - Features 80g/mΒ² acid-free paper with high ink compatibility to help prevent bleed through, an expandable gusseted pocket on the back cover, 2 page markers / bookmarks and an elastic closure band - Includes 251 numbered pages or our signature 80gsm with 8 perforated detachable sheets, a blank table of contents for easy organization and notes, also includes stickers for labeling and archiving - Durable hardcover notebook in a lovely color with FSC MIX paper made from responsible sources β€” measures approximately 5ΒΎ inches by 8ΒΌ inches (145x210 mm) ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0095FFUM4 | | Best Sellers Rank | #767 in Office Products ( See Top 100 in Office Products ) #9 in Hardcover Executive Notebooks | | Binding | Office Product | | Brand | LEUCHTTURM1917 | | Brand Name | LEUCHTTURM1917 | | Color | Navy | | Cover Material | Faux Leather | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 19,010 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04004117393877 | | Item Dimensions L x W | 8.25"L x 5.75"W | | Item Weight | 0.26 kg | | Manufacturer | Leuchtturm1917 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Pages | 251 pages | | Paper Size | A5 (5-7/8 x 8-1/4) | | Pattern | Polka Dot | | Ruling Type | Dotted | | Sheet Size | A5 (5-7/8 x 8-1/4) | | Special Feature | Hard Cover | | Style | Dotted | | Theme | Book | | UPC | 791836682705 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | manufacture | ## Product Details - **Brand:** LEUCHTTURM1917 - **Color:** Navy - **Cover Material:** Faux Leather - **Number of Items:** 1 - **Pages:** 251 pages - **Ruling Type:** Dotted - **Sheet Size:** A5 (5-7/8 x 8-1/4) - **Special Feature:** Hard Cover - **Style:** Dotted - **Theme:** Book ## Images ![LEUCHTTURM1917 - Hardcover Notebook Medium (A5), Navy, Dotted - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/512HJgPlChL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Ruling Type** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ High quality and better than moleskin *by H***N on August 3, 2026* Leuchtturm journals are my favorite. I’ve had Moleskine and specialty notebooks before and used them reguarly for work and journaling - this A5 hardcover notebook tops them all. I love the numbered pages, the storage pocket, and the overall durability and feel of the paper. It looks professional (if you want it to) and will withstand regular daily use with grace. Overall, this is a great buy. ## Frequently Bought Together - LEUCHTTURM1917 - Notebook Hardcover Medium A5-251 Numbered Pages for Writing and Journaling (Navy, Dotted) - LEUCHTTURM1917 Self Adhesive Pen Loop Elastic Pen Holder (Navy) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/11110924-leuchtturm1917-hardcover-notebook-medium-a5-navy-dotted](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/11110924-leuchtturm1917-hardcover-notebook-medium-a5-navy-dotted) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-11-03*
