Ex-Lax Maximum Strength Stimulant Laxative Constipation Relief Pills for Occasional Constipation, Gentle Laxatives - 24 Count

I remember my parents taking Ex-Lax when I was a kid. Now I am a senior citizen and having to take medications just like my parents years ago. Certain meds can and will cause constipation. I have been taking Rx medications for more years than I care to remember. I researched and found a certain 'tea' by the name of China Slim Tea. Please don't let the name fool you. This tea is from Asia and that region is notorious for using wonderful plants, shrubs and tea barks to help with medical issues. That tea does not have a great flavor but I have been buying the China Slim tea for over 15 years. The major issues I had with that tea was headaches and cramping. Ex-Lax does not have the cramping and I do not have headaches. I take one pill just prior to bed every other night and my bowel movements are thorough the next morning. I don't know why I did not think about Ex-Lax all those years ago since it has been a long time OTC helper. The China Slim tea is very potent, so I only use that tea for times of severe system back-up. I would highly recommend Ex-Lax to anyone that needs a very cost-friendly, effective and safe OTC stimulant for constipation :)).

This is good stuff, when I'm constipated I reach for it, then no more problems. Good value, easy to use and very effective.

This product works great! If your constipated and can't get it moving along, this product will help you out. I'd recommend to anyone who is having such issues and are looking for a laxative.

After my surgery, the anesthesia really threw my body off—it left me feeling uncomfortable and backed up for days. I was honestly miserable. This laxative worked gently but effectively, and within a few hours, I finally got the relief I needed.It didn’t cause harsh cramps or anything extreme—it just helped my body get back on track. If you’re recovering from surgery or just need something that really works, this was a lifesaver for me.

I really like this product, but it is so expensive now, I get a different product. This is excellent, though.

I bought this for postpartum as I was having constipation issues even 2 weeks after having my baby. I could go a week without pooping and I wasn’t in pain, but it was concerning to me and I was sore enough down there so I didn’t want to add more hemorrhoids to the mix by straining to poop, so I knew I needed a laxative of some sort to coax things along more gently. Well all I can say is be careful with these! I thought since I was going a week between poops, that I should take 2 pills. I encourage you to start with 1! The first time I took 2, it wasn’t so bad. I had 1 bowel movement some hours later (maybe 6 hours?) and it was fine. I see now that I was lulled into a false sense of security. A week later I still needed help to poop again. I took another 2 like last time and, oh boy, did I have a tough time. I was up and down to the bathroom at least 5 times and my stomach was in shambles. I felt like I had self inflicted diarrhea. On top of caring for my newborn. I was carrying him into the bathroom in his bouncer with me every half hour, subjecting his innocent nose to Chernobyl levels of diarrhea. Not sure if it was something I ate along with the ExLax but I was regretting my decision to take 2 tablets, and was even googling how to reverse the side effects of laxatives (lol). This went on until late at night when I scarfed down a bunch of apple sauce and that seemed to help slow things down again! I would hate to be caught out in public when these pills kick in! You better find a bathroom QUICK!
