Is there a reason why my fish eat it and then spit it out? They're all tropical fish so would assume they would eat it.

That's how they chew. Many fish have teeth in their throat. Try grinding the food up a bit and feeding less over a longer period.

Can you use this for beta fish?

absolutely, it's great stuff. It's what I give my betas and they do great.

Does it clould the water?

No it does not cloud the water.!In my 20 years of having aquariums, this is the best food we’ve used
