Would you recommend TSA approved locks if you are passing through the states?

I have just recently returned from the states and purchased these locks especially for the trip. We had no problems at all with these locks. They are strong, easy to use and very durable. Would recommend

It is very thin as the lock itself is small .I would say no thicker than 2 mm may be 1 mm
