QUANTUM COMPUTATION+QUANTUM INFORMA

This book was recommended to me by Rigetti (Rigetti Quantum Computing Company) as an introduction to quantum computing.

A classic and accessible text in quantum computing, this book is such a delight read. Many other customers seem to be complaining about the quality of the book: It's after all less than half of the price of the hardcover!! If you worry about the paper quality, there's always the hardcover version. If you buy the cheaper version and complain about the printing quality, my advice is: you get what you pay for. I'm buying it to read and study; minor cosmetic issues don't concern me at all. Even if sometimes the printing gets in the way of reading, most of the time the blurred part can be inferred from context. It is, after all, such a well-written book. But if you are looking to buy this book as a long-kept reference, I suggest you pay the extra and get the hardcover.

Provides solid reference material for a complex subject.

No question that the book itself is a perfect republished reference book for anyone interested in modern Quantum physics. Great wording and amazing information included. Like any other upper level academic book, this cannot contain all different derivations in it and some must be referenced theough the internet. Now. The physical part of the discussion. 😂 I bought this book as a new paperback book, the only thing that is new about it is the sticker on the back cover that says new. There are all different kinds of bend marks and scratches on the cover. There’s even dried glue coming out of one side of the book. I got this for a friend’s birthday and was embarrassed. Got it refunded though. But seriously! Please be honest about what you’re selling. The 2 stars are there since the material of the book is great.

The South Asia edition was delivered to an address outside that area.

This was printed in unacceptable condition, pages are folded into the binding, rendering them unreadable.

Quality of paper is terrible.

This is one of the best book for beginners in quantum information and computing. In this book the required concepts are described in a simple way.

Ottimo libro, molto chiaro e lineare, la miglior scelta in assoluto per chi vuole iniziare a studiare la teoria dell'informazione e della computazione quantistica. Sono richieste solo conoscenze basilari di meccanica quantistica e algebra lineare e, in ogni caso, all'inizio del libro c'è un riassunto dei suddetti argomenti per non lasciare indietro proprio nessuno.

Ik kocht het boek als naslagwerk bij een vak dat ik volgde. De opbouw van het boek maakt het ingewikkeld om te vinden wat je zoekt.

Das Buch kam pünktlich an. Die Qualität ist hervorragend, es ist der zweite Nachdruck aus dem Jahr 2025. Den Inhalt kann ich noch nicht beurteilen 😇
