The inlaid woodwork, everything is just lovely. The second thing to say is, it is HUGE. This is not the little Chinese-made plastic set you're probably used to. I dorownn't know where I'm going to stash this thing; it won't fit in the bin where the rest of my games are. And I'm not the type to leave a chessboard or backgammon board out someplace. But I will figure out where to keep it. A lot of other reviews have mentioned that the dice and doubling cube are tiny, and that is true; they're pretty crappy. So, I ordered regular white & brown dice and a doubling cube, as detailed in other reviews; go read them, I don't remember off-hand where I got them. Also, the dice cups are adequate, but puny. I may replace those someday, too. If you're willing to spend this much $ on a backgammon set, it is worth it. Review: Great board game - The board is very exquisite. I wish they designed it where the pieces can stay on in the board instead of having to go in the bag. The dice that come with it are horrible. ## Features - Beautifully High Quality Made Classic Backgammon - ROSEWOOD - Wooden handmade mosaic and carved design (no print) - Dimension: 20.5"x 12"3,15" , 52 cm x 30 cm x 8 cm - WHAT'S INCLUDED: Backgammon Board, Playing Chips, Playing Dice, Carrying leather bag ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07NCZ96Q7 | | Best Sellers Rank | #528,972 in Toys & Games ( See Top 100 in Toys & Games ) #13,206 in Board Games (Toys & Games) | | Brand Name | Chess and games shop Muba | | CPSIA Cautionary Statement | No Warning Applicable | | Color | Brown | | Customer Package Type | bag | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 48 Reviews | | Edition | Luxury Edition | | Educational Objective | Enhance strategic thinking and problem-solving skills | | Genre | Strategy | | Included Components | Backgammon Board, Playing Chips, Playing Dice, Carrying leather bag | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Item Dimensions | 20.5 x 12.38 x 0.04 inches | | Item Dimensions L x W | 20.5"L x 12.25"W | | Language | English | | Manufacturer | Chess and games shop Muba | | Manufacturer recommended age | 16 years and up | | Material Type | Rosewood | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Players | 2 | | Operation Mode | manual | | Set Name | Mosaic Luxury Edition | | Size | 52 cm x 30 cm x 8 cm | | Theme | No Theme | ## Images ![Backgammon Set Mosaic and Carved Design - Foldable Rosewood Board - Classic Board Game - Size 20,5" - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61iSAvUZMiL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ GORGEOUS Backgammon Set *by L***O on May 12, 2022* The first thing to say is, OMG, this is a thing of beauty. I wish they designed it where the pieces can stay on in the board instead of having to go in the bag. The dice that come with it are horrible. ### ⭐⭐ Rosewood certificate *by D***N on January 24, 2026* The description states rosewood but there is no certificate of authenticity that it is rosewood. There maybe paying too much. ## Frequently Bought Together - Backgammon Set Mosaic and Carved Design - Foldable Rosewood Board - Classic Board Game - Size 20,5" - Luck Lab Backgammon Pearl Dice Set - 22 mm Doubling Cube Plus Four 16 mm Dice with Storage Bag, Brown/White Marbelized --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/112420207-backgammon-set-mosaic-and-carved-design-foldable-rosewood-board-classic](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/112420207-backgammon-set-mosaic-and-carved-design-foldable-rosewood-board-classic) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-31*
