So hear me out:--there are 3 main types: #1 skinny metal rope with coating, #2 PVC like this one, and #3 beaded rope. #1 is for ppl doing extreme speed like in competition. #2 and #3 are for normal jumping as well as doing tricks. There is a good size community of ppl doing jump rope on IG, search it out. Take my advice: this is a good handle type though Elite is not the only ppl selling this handle type. Don't buy any other kind of handle. You don't need to spend $50, $60, $70 for other set up, at least not yet. However, go find something heavier than 4mm. Do online search and you will find many places that sell this stuff with different color for handles or rope or thickness. Lastly, the thinner the rope the more work on your wrists and arms to rotate the rope. **Q: Does the cord itself have some weight to it? I tried to use one that had a super lightweight cord and it wasn't heavy enough to work very well.** A: It could do w/ a bit more weight, but i dont have any problems using it. Im 6 ft and 210 LBS. **Q: What's the point of the long handle? Why is that better?** A: more ways of holding the rope at different places for different tricks **Q: Hay alguna forma de comprar la cuerda con los agarres color Turquesa? :(** A: Sorry we don't offer the color grip tape on Amazon but check out our site for other color variations. ## Frequently Bought Together - Fit Plus Pro Freestyle PVC Jump Rope for Tricks - Unbreakable 8" Long Handles with Non-Slip Grip Tape - Premium Adult Jump Ropes for Fitness - Lightweight Cardio Boxing Skipping Jump Rope - Skipping Jump Rope for Fitness Workout - Light Weight, Adjustable, Tangle Free, Excellent line control for Cardio Boxing, CrossFit, Training Exercise All Ages and Gender ( Special Luxury, KA-220, Made in Korea) - Elite Jumps - Do Hard Things 1” Beaded Jump Ropes - Strong & Durable Materials - Resize & Adjust - Fitness & Cardio Training - Improve Rhythm, Speed, Agility --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/112514134-fit-plus-pro-freestyle-pvc-jump-rope-for-tricks-unbreakable](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/112514134-fit-plus-pro-freestyle-pvc-jump-rope-for-tricks-unbreakable) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
