These Pentel RSVP purple pens are my absolute favorite! The ink writes super smoothly and consistently, and the purple color is vibrant without being too bold. I only write my meeting notes in pink, always and I never tire of these pens. The ink flow is consistent and smooth. The color never varies and I have never had any mechanical issues with these pens. I love them!

they are ball point pens. Mom wanted purple pens and ink. she is very happy with this purchase. I am happier that she is happy.

I've always liked Pentel. I've had quite a few through the years. This time, I needed some pens that easily wrote in green ink. I bought some green pens from another well-known --- and usually reputable --- pen manufacturer a couple of years ago. I was able to use a couple of those pens. But when I went to use the 3rd one out of the box, it was very difficult to get it to start writing. I used a scratch pad and it must've taken me almost five minutes before the ink started flowing. Once it did, it was unreliable. It would work sometimes; and sometimes, it would just suddenly stop writing or write in spurts. I recently tried a couple of more of those pens and they all failed right away. That's when I gave up, threw that box away, and ordered these Pentel green ink pens. (I have had boxes of red and blue ink pens from that other manufacturer for several years and when I need a new one, I just take one out of storage and it works fine. The green ones, however, don't work very well, if at all.) So, I bought these. I tested several and they all work fine at the moment. I expect that these will last longer in storage than those of the other brand. We'll see. But the price for these was good and they do a great job of writing in green ink, which is what I needed.

So I haven’t had any issues with the pen skipping, it’s smooth and writes well, the purple is a good midpoint between too light or too dark - my only issue is that this pen is NOT 1.0. My photo shows this purple pen next to 1.0 pentel energel. I believe this pen is 0.7.

Let me tell you people when I picked up this pen I thought I don't know but when I put it to Paper and I'm a purple people eater, it's awesome absolutely awesome and now it's out of stock. Buy it when it comes back in stock people buy it.

Good value and the quality is good. No leakage and writes smooth with a quick drying time.

I first ordered a set of these pens in January of this year. I was so impressed that I ordered more and then wound up subscribing. The first set of pens were awesome; no problems with the flow of ink and the pens are comfortable to use, even after a couple of hours of continuous writing. The second set of pens have been nothing but a disappointment. Both have stopped writing with ink still left in the cartridge at least half way up the barrel. I've tried the usual tips to get them to work...heating the tips with a match, cleaning the tips with alcohol and acetone, and standing the pens in a cup of boiling water for 5 minutes. And after each attempt to get them to write again, they work for about 30 seconds. I have another set of pens already in transit because the subscription kicked in. If these are no improvement, I guess it's back to looking for a reliable alternative.

Good quality pens

Muy malitas las plumas, tinta verde muy pálida, frágiles en extremo, si se caen por accidente se deshacen en piezas. Lo único rescatable es el punto mediano 1.0mm que ayuda a la escritura fluida.

It's not easy to find this color and I'm quite pleased with it for the price.
