I didn't start the fire... this "clever" cube blew out the circuits. BUT NOW IT'S SIMPLY CLEVER AND GOOD...
I tried... to find a way to contact the seller and iClever to allow them to make this right, but could not figure it out, a Great Circle Chase; hopefully they will see it here so that this issue can be resolved. I purchased this product in January 2017, used it less than 6 times. It seemed to work okay. That being said, when I plugged it in the last time, a few days ago (literally), it threw out massive sparks, both size and volume, and blew out the circuits in half of the apartment. Obviously defective/flawed. I would love a best resolution here. Help? UPDATE: Seller did find me, and we have communicated about this issue to my satisfaction. They were responsive immediately after I reviewed the product, sent all the issue information and concerns to their technicians in order to ensure a best product and resolve any further issues. It is obvious to me that this company/seller cares about their customer satisfaction and making things right. They sent me another charger to try, free of charge, with apologies and the promise to continue follow up toward a best and effective customer satisfaction resolution, as they believe in their product. I am happy with their efforts, and will re-review the product upon further usage. Customer service gets 10 stars. (Please find an easier way to contact you after purchasing, however; that was a challenge!) Wish me luck! MOST RECENT UPDATE: I have been using the iClever Boost Cube for about one week now since the seller provided me with a replacement, and find it to be working wonderfully well: charges quickly, doubles up/two in one, loving its travel capability... it's all I had HOPED for first time around, and am hoping it will stay the great charging course. As stated above, the seller stands behind their product and does everything in their power to satisfy the customer needs. I DO recommend this product and this seller at this point in time!

poor quality
UPDATE 2: as noted before, the seller sent me a replacement product AND gave me a refund! and as far as I can tell, the replacement product is working like a charm. So, I've updated my rating/review to 5 stars and can definitely say I'm a satisfied customer! the customer service is fantastic. UPDATE 1: immediately after submitting the review below, the seller first replied with a comment (as you all can see) - and in addition to that, they sent me an email, offering me a refund PLUS a replacement product. I have to say, I didn't expect such exceptional customer service for a product that costs so little...I'll wait to update the rating after I get the replacement product (we'll see how long that takes), but thought it was worth updating to at least mention the proactiveness and responsiveness. Assuming the replacement works, I will be a happy customer and not be afraid to buy from them again. ***************** ORIGINAL REVIEW ************************************************* I really wanted to love this thing, so I could have an intelligent charger for my various devices (Samsung Phone, iPad, etc.) which have different charging specs. After the first one seemed to work brilliantly, I even bought a second one...but then, I started realizing that these things weren't really working. I don't know what the cause of the problem is, but this thing doesn't work very consistently for me...hard to describe but basically, I am encountering a lot of issues with this thing actually providing a charge. Here are a few step-by-step descriptions of problems I'm having: I plugged this charger into the wall socket (with 2 charging cords attached) and 2 devices plugged in to charge as I went to bed...several hours later, when I awoke, I looked and NEITHER device had charged at all. WTF... So I started playing around and trying to figure out what the heck happened. When I plug this charger into the wall socket (WITHOUT charging cords attached), the 2 USB ports may or may not light up blue. The prongs are straight and my wall sockets work fine with all other plugs. When I jiggle the charger a little, the blue lights come on and off. Even if I am able to get them to stay on without the cords plugged in, they may or may not stay on when I plug in the cords. And if it does stay on, any slight jiggle or bump will make it not work. extremely frustating!!!! I love the idea but the build quality seems terrible.

Great product at an amazing price
Short review – This charger is great. It will fast charge any two devices as fast or faster than the charger that came with the device. And it will charge both at that speed at the same time. I have charged an iPhone 6s Plus, a Samsung Note 4, a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (7” Tablet), and two Kindle Fire tablets. It has charged all of these well and in different combinations with no problem. Long review – So far I have only found one minor flaw with this charger. One of my surge protectors will not allow anything to plug in beside it. The plug ports are in the same direction as the body of the surge protector. In reality this is a flaw not on the charger but the surge protector. It is my least favorite and least used. In a normal wall plug the charger only takes one space and also in the rest of my normal surge protectors it does equally well. This mean not only to I have a high quality charger, but I can charge 2 devices for the price of one outlet. This is great for my cramped surge protector in my office that has lots of printers and other accessories hooked up. The charger was well packaged when it arrived and was in perfect working order. I found no finish flaws with it (if that matters to you). In size it is big. Not too bad if using in a surge protector but it does come out a good ways from the outlet, about 2 inches before plug in USB charging cables. This was not a big deal for me. The LED lights on the charger make finding it and plugging a USB cable a breeze, so much easier than trying to hold a phone or tablet as a light and plug something in. However, with two cables plugged in, I cannot see the light even in the total darkness of my bedroom at night. This is a huge plus and speaks to the build quality of the item. During charging I have seen no heat given off by either the charger, the cable, or the device being charged. For most of my use I have used this while charging an iPhone 6s Plus with an Amazon cable AmazonBasics Apple Certified Lightning to USB Cable - 6 Feet (1.8 Meters) - White and a Note 4 with the cable provided by Samsung originally. I have not noticed any problems with any of the other cables or devices I use. In summary, this is a great product, and when you consider the price you’re paying to charge 2 items it is a bargain! I will certainly be looking for more products by this brand.

Loose fit in power outlet on multiple units. Totally unreliable.
I read the reviews and bought one of these. I like the looks, feel, functionality etc. When it works, it works great for the iPhone 6 and iPad Air with no compatibility issues. The problem is the prongs do not fit snugly in the electrical outlet, and I mean every outlet I've tried, not just in my house. As a result, you have to jiggle it around, turn it upside down, prop something against it and jump through all kind of hoops to keep it connected. Then, when you think you've got it, you come back a few hours later to a dead phone because it slipped out of the socket a little. I went back and read reviews again. No one else seemed to have this problem so I'm thinking I just got a bad unit so I ordered a second one (stop your laughing please). It was just the same as the first. It is basically useless. With no one else reporting this problem, I have to wonder if the people reporting other types of failures are having this same issue and not realizing it. Do not buy this. It is unreliable at best and close to worthless. Addendum (30 Nov 15) - After posting the review above, I was quickly contacted by customer service at Hisgadget Inc. They were very friendly and offered to send me a new unit to try. I am happy to say that it works perfectly. As I said before, I really like all the features and performance of these devices when they work, and the customer service is very good, so I am upgrading my rating to 4 stars. I would like to give it a 5 but feel that I can't because I have no way of knowing for sure that the quality control has improved based on 1 functioning unit.

UPDATE (8/11/19) WALL CHARGER STOPPED WORKING!!!! DONT BUY!!!!
I just recieved my iClever BoostCube 4.8A 24W Dual USB Travel Wall Charger with SmartID. I'll start from the beginning. It shipped promptly with Amazon Prime and was indeed here in two days (which I was thankful for as I lost my other charger for my iPhone 6s Plus). I opened the large Amazon box and pulled out the packing material. Inside was a small box (the wall charger) and a new AmazonBasics 6ft white lightning to USB cable (which I reviewed on that product page). I grabbed the small box containing the charger and opened the small cardboard box. To my amazement and joy - the box was even high quality yet didn't have a stupid sticker or tape over the opening. I simply pulled the box open and the charger was in direct sight. It was nicely wrapped with the charging prongs folded in some cellophane wrapping to protect it from damage. I also got the charger in white as well to match. I unwrapped the rest of the charger and inspected it. It has two 2.4A USB charging ports and SmartID to ensure that it allows for the quickest charges for each type of device you use. I bought this one as it has two USB ports so I can charge my phone and my external Anker PowerCore 10000 battery simultaneously. I then plugged my new cable in to the charger and then plugged it in to the wall. Immediately the Blue LED lights that are inside the USB ports came on and were visible in the USB port that was not occupied by the cable. I love the idea of this to aid in finding it in the dark. I plugged my phone in and it had 60% batt power. I checked it 15 minutes later and it had already risen to 70% charged. In the end - I would recommend this product to everyone I know as a replacement (And maybe even better) than the factory Apple one that comes with the phone. Update (8/11/19) ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END! It has been a while since I purchased this plug, at first it worked super well for about a month, however, after that time I plug it in and it lights up for a few seconds and then goes black and stops charging? I have tried it on probably 25 different outlets all do the same thing. It has been a while since I have used this plug as it is at our vacation home and I haven’t had time to write an update to my review. I am super unsatisfied with this plug now as it simply doesn’t work as it is supposed to. You can see mine looks brand new (as I cant use it). Anyone else experience this problem?

Wall charger USB power adaptor; works well so far.
This power adaptor wall-charger cube charges pretty fast. It reminds me of the iPod chargers of yesteryear, only it has 2 ports labeled 2.4A and boasts “Smart ID.” I already used it to charge my iPad Air and it charged it rather fast. It is called a travel charger but is not a travel bank charger, which is something different. It is called a travel charger because of it’s ability to fold and tuck it’s plug down so it is easier to pack up or store in your pocket. It’s dimensions are a 2 inch by 1 inch box with curved side edges and corners. There is a blue LED light that shines in the USB socket when there is nothing plugged into it. I was able to determine that the light cannot turn off and continuously shines even though there is something plugged into it. It also came in a nifty cardboard box with instructions and warranty card. In conclusion, this product has shown that it can successfully do what it was made to do, and I will see how long it is able to continue to do it’s job. I will return to update this review if I find anything faulty with the product over time.

This little guy is an excellent charger
I bought this to use when traveling. My wife and I both have tablets that we take with us and of course we both take our phones too. My wife is resisting upgrading her flip phone and I use a smartphone. This becomes a problem because our chargers aren't interchangable. I wanted something we could both use and not have to worry about if we packed both chargers. It has worked so well that I have bought a few as gifts. The smart ID works great and the charging is consistent and fast. It is so small you could almost carry it in your pocket. The smart ID apparently stopped working in one of the plugs because it started charging my Samsung phone slower than the other plug. I contacted iClever via email and had a no hassle replacement in about 10 days. I liked this so much I've also bought the 4 plug version so that we can charge our tablets and phones at the same time. It has been working great so far. You can't go wrong buying this and will be glad you did.

Intermittent plug after just a few weeks.
Failed after just a few weeks of use. The rotating plug that plugs in to the wall outlet is intermittent. The charger goes on and off when you wriggle it, like it has a loose connection internally. Unfortunately it seems to go off at random times and if I'm not awake to wriggle it I wake up to a dead phone! Note that I have not used this thing that hard. After buying it I flipped the plug open and plugged it in to the wall and never removed it until it started acting up some weeks later. So it can't be blamed on abuse. The rotating plug that failed was really only rotated once to the open position, so its not like I abused the connection by repeatedly flipping it open and closed. It's either a bad design or I got a defective unit with a loose connection from the factory. I'm buying a new one but NOT this brand. Update Sept 19, 2017 iClever has contacted me regarding my bad experience with their wall charger and have offered to send me a new one for FREE. You can't beat that for great service! When the device worked it was great, so I'm looking forward to receiving a new one. The reason I bought it in the first place was because it looked to be the best charger on the market. Great products and even greater customer service, nice job iClever!!! Update Oct 30 The new charger works perfectly, no more problems. Thanks for the great support! When so many China made products are synonymous with poor quality it's nice to know there is at least one company willing to do what it takes to make its customers happy.
