How do you measure for what size you need on this product?

I can’t seem to get the correct size... From the chart he is a 5 but I had to return that one cause it was big got a size 4 and still seems to be big. It’s a bit difficult to tighten the front part has this weird thread that is twisted it was twisted when I purchased I’m trying to figure out how to fix it.... I might need a size 3 but my dog is 50 lbs! I think these muzzles run big...

What size would fit a one year old Labrador?

The guide says 5 and I would agree especially if he's on larger size or has a long snout! We have a 3 and a 4 for our 48 pound wheaten terrier and both fit but 4 is really little big, and the 4 fits our 81 pound boxer too. So if your dog is on smaller side maybe the 4, either way it will still work properly and have enough room around neck.

Will this fit my chihuahua 7 lbs.?

Probably not. I bought one for a 10/11 lb terrier and it was way too big. I found a mesh one that was a much better fit and I could still treat my dog. The baskerville one was almost as big as my dogs head. I got the Coastal Pet Best Fit Adjustable Mesh Dog Muzzle (Black, Size 3) The size 2 would probably fit a chi.

Will my pet really be able to drink water?

Try a larger drinking or eating dish depending on the size of the muzzle. It really works even if your dog is stubborn at 1st.
