The bristles are super soft and never experienced any shedding. They wash well. They blend eye shadows like a dream. Doesn't matter if it's a drugstore or high end. Good for beginners or pros. They have great construction. Super sturdy and have a nice weight to them. I use this one to blend all over the lid. I love the E25 brush for applying most eyeshadows, and the E27 brush is great for the outer corner/crease areas for more detailed application. The E35 is the perfect blending brush. For the price, the quality can't be beat. I use these brushes almost daily and wash them weekly, I've only had to replace them once every 4-5 years when they start fraying a bit.
