Great workout for arms
My friend just put in a pool. So we are trying all different types of water workout equipment. The Swim Training Gloves are by far my favorite. There are so many arm resistant exercises that can be done. My favorite part is you don’t have to grip a barbell or a resistant object. It helps anyone that has arthritis in their hands do the exercises that the other objects can do but require you to grip and cause fatigue. They are quality made and look great.

Good quality and functional
The gloves did their work in the water, especially in helping pulling the water. The fit is a little big, but they can help your float when stretching out the arms. The palm side material helps to prevent slippery when you push up to get out of the pool.

Speedo swim gloves
Good swim gloves that give excellent resistance when swimming. It does not withstand the chlorine for long - fades after a few months and I am expecting it to start disintegrating shortly. I swim every other day and figure I'll go through 2-3 pairs/year. This is my second purchase in less than a year.

BRILLIANT for getting the most out of pool time / water therapy!
A water aerobics instructor who helps me with my water therapy introduced me to the water gloves instead of using the water weights because the gloves are far more versatile and much easier to transport in my gym bag. Initially I had preferred the water weights that I'd used at the Y and Golds Gym however since everything was closed I was only able to do my water therapy at a private pool - thankful for terrific friends in a gated community! My friend has a number of sets of these gloves in different sizes and different brands. Out of all of them we tried, my husband and I both preferred the Speedo gloves. Since I'm a 2XL gal, I like these gloves in Large. My 2XLT husband loves the XL size since he has a really horrible hand injury that's never healed properly - he's finally able to get pool exercise without his hand throbbing quite as much. I have a really bad leg situation, bad enough I feel like a beached whale when on land. In the water though, I'm finally able to move so I'm regaining such much missed flexibility and strength. These gloves are really awesome to improve both my arm strength and endurance. They are stylish enough that quite a few people have been asking me about the gloves, trying them out and saying they plan to get their own set. I can't sing their praises enough - well built and reasonably priced. I recommend to wash the gloves out thoroughly after using and lay or hang them up to air dry as they do retain quite a bit of pool water. They hold up well to use in the swimsuit water extraction machine available at some gyms, too.

great gloves for swimming
I saw many swim training gloves that were much cheaper, but I trusted Speedo and glad that I did. These gloves are durable, comfortable and quick to dry. I bought them for ocean reef swimming, where at lower tides, I grab onto the rocks and pull into a strong stroke with the other arm. They withstand the rock and craggy rocks, and also protect my hands from sea urchins, stone fish, eels, etc... (I am very careful not to touch any live coral, btw). In addition to this unique protection, these are of course, swim training gloves, and I immediately noticed more of a workout in my shoulders, and also more power through the stroke. I also find that I am able to relax my hand, into the spread-fingers position, and reduce my hand tension and fatigue. Good buy, even though the cost was 3x of other no-name webbed swim gloves, I do not regret spending more for quality, esp. given the extreme conditions i put them through.

Grossly premature failure
I love these gloves and have been using them for about 10 years. Very comfortable. I get a new pair about once per year mainly because the grey side is showing signs of age. Shockingly, this new pair of the same gloves is already failing quite badly after less than two months usage. I noticed the start of small tears a few weeks ago. Now it is becoming quite serious. The black, rubberized, side has multiple tears on both gloves. This is primarily in the thumb area. Furthermore, on the right hand glove the black material is disintegrating near the end of the fingers. I would presume that Speedo changed something about the black material, probably not on purpose. Unfortunately, I'm past the return window. Stuck with failing gloves and nervous about re-ordering.

Excellent resistance workout
Added these training gloves along with some training fins and goggles to my swimming routine and they definitely make a difference. I feel a lot more engagement on my over all muscle groups. The gloves are of good durable materials and dry pretty quick; especially when left out to sun dry. The colors and texture are of high quality.

No problems, good exercise!
This is the second pair of these I bought in a medium. I have read about the problems people have been having with fit. My hand is typically a little smaller than a medium glove and these fit snug, a little tighter than most medium gloves I buy. Because I think they are supposed to be tight, this is probably about what I expected. I hope that helps on sizing for you. The velcro doesn't always stay on, but I am not sure of a better way to bind them at the wrist. I am not even sure you need the wrist strap because the gloves fit snugly and don't slip. Are they the best around? I don't know, I had the opportunity to try other brands/styles on at the store and didn't like the way they felt, but never used them in a pool. (I am not "one of those guys", the stores either didn't have these or they were outrageously priced.) Anyhow, I bought them for my daughter thinking they would be handy for a river-tube trip and tried them in the pool. They don't feel like they are doing much until you are done swimming. Then your arms feel sore, and if you take them off and swim it feels like your hands have shrunk...and you can't get power any more. In other words, what a great work-out! I bought the second pair for myself I liked them so much.

Good fit and quality product material
These are my go-to gloves for my aggressive deep water aquafit - 5 hours per week. Important to air dry them after each session. My previous purchases of this product have lasted about a year before the back of the hand fabric portion begins to break down and the neoprene hand part begins to give out around the seams. They really give a boost to one's exercise program when used aggressively. For folks I see with them who just wave their arms about in a gentle manner, there is likely not much benefit; but then again, they are at the pool while others are home having coffee, a tip of the hat to all who show up at aquafit classes!

Richtig gut
