An excellent weighing scale for kitchen or weighing wool or other such applications where weight is less than 5 kg. Very accurate measurement. Tare is working perfectly. Have three scale options - Grams, Ounces and Milli-liters (by converting wright into volume for water density). Stainless steel top is small but ekegent. See dimensions before buying. Very easy to use with good quality material used. A bit costly than similar scales but worth the extra money spent.

I have used several of such kitchen Scales in the past. What I like about this one is its steel finish looks and overall product quality. It's good for most of the measurements. What's a miss is being able to measure anything larger than the surface area of this scale. Like, if you are used to putting food on your dinner plate while the dinner plate sits on the scale, you will face real issues in reading the scale as that gets hidden under the plate. So get prepared to put everything into a bowl and then measure.

Let's just say that Amazonbasics products being manufactured in India are an embarrassment to the country. I honestly doubt that whoever is responsible for selecting the manufacturer is making money underhand. I paid 279Rs for this weighing scale and if you look at the item you will know that you overpaid by 264 Rs. It has the quality of a 15 Rs plastic toy that you can buy from Roadside vendors. If they keep selling these sort of items then soon no one will buy Amazonbasics anymore. I couldn't stop laughing at the quality of the product. Some of the plastic is actually burnt. Amazon really needs to investigate this manufacturer and whoever approved this manufacturer.

This is the area where I could not find a reliable branded product and I was very happy when Amazon has introduced its own branded AmazonBasics kitchen scale. It looks quite elegant and works like it should. I tested with packaged goods and it showed the weight accurately. Note that the maximum weight it can handle is 5 KG. It can show weight in grams and Oz as well. Also it can weigh liquids in ml. I am very impressed with this kitchen scale. It is one of the best AmazonBasics products out there. I would not go for cheap unbranded kitchen scales if accuracy and durability is important. And Amazon has also provided 2 AAA batteries (of their own brand again) as well, which is nice. Bought this to weigh baking ingredients as it requires measured quantities. So far it appears to be measuring properly. Slim size makes it easier to place and use in cramped kitchen spaces. Big display is helpful. Easy to measure single item or add on for a mix. Very useful for regular users who need to measure lot of stuff. Easy to clean too.

The quality of material and the finish is top notch. The ease of use is good: just place the batteries, switch on, place, measure, tare, place more and measure and so on. Tried measuring 100g and 200g and there is a tolerance of about 2-3 percent. For home and kitchen this product is more than sufficient. For the price point (which is more when compared to the competition) long term quality of finish and material strength and measurement accuracy is a big factor. Will update the review in 6 months.

The display switches off even when you’ve kept a variable weight on the machine! This is the only con! Unfortunately a major one for me. Other than that very good accuracy.

I bought these Amazon Basics digital kitchen scales to replace a cheap set that literally fell apart, and the difference is night and day. The build quality feels much more solid and well-made, with no flex or rattling. The LCD display is clear and easy to read, and it’s simple to use straight out of the box. Having the batteries included was a nice touch — just switch it on and it’s ready to go. Measurements are accurate and consistent, and the tare function works exactly as it should. It’s compact enough to store easily but feels sturdy enough for everyday use. For the price, these are excellent value for money and feel like they’ll last far longer than cheaper alternatives. Very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend them.
