Under His Protection (Brie's Submission Book 14)

Every time I think I have read the best Red Phoenix book ever, she proves me wrong with the next one. Under His Protection is a perfect example. What an amazing story! Learning more about Faelan has long been something I’ve wanted. Now here is his story. And we get to peek into his life in a way we never have before. Wow! Just WOW! Todd Wallace has had a rough time living with the guilt of a car crash at age 16 that killed another young man. We’ve seen this in previous books, but we learn so much more in this one. A wonderful insight into his background and how it has influenced him today. And all the little details we never knew until now. Of course, Todd’s relationship with Mary is a focal point, too. It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions up to now, and it continues in the book. Todd is devoted to Mary. Is Mary devoted to Todd? She does love his brand of BDSM. Is that enough? It was also super fun to learn more about the infamous Marquis Gray. He is something of a mystery, and always has been. Unfortunately I came away with more questions than answers with this book. But what we learned was amazing! Marquis (however you pronounce that…) is a man of deep intelligence. He blew me away. And then the Russian. Rytsar has been taken away forcefully. Many are very worried about him. Todd has offered to help Rytsar with Lilly. Because Lilly is a story unto herself! Not a good story, but a story. The amount of old friends from the training center who are willing to help locate Rytsar is heartwarming! Seeing all the old Training Center friends gather again, united in a cause, made me smile. I wanted to wave to each and every one of them! It is SUCH a good thing that the next book comes out about one month after this one, so the end of August 2017 for Rytsar. There is so much built up in the story that I just have to know what happens next! Faelan has been riveting, and it’s only going to get better in the next book! Thank you to my favorite author, Red Phoenix, for listening to the muses and writing such a fabulous story! Like I said, each book is even better than the last. Under His Protection did not disappoint in any way. If you follow the saga of Brie, you can’t miss this one!

I can't seem to get enough of Red Phoenix her books just keep getting better and better I love the fact that Mary and faylan were able to move on from each other they love each other but were not a good match Mary needs a strong master to be with one that won't let her run the show but that will still love her the way she needs to be loved. I was glad to see faylan actually find someone to love that knows his past and can love him unconditionally although neither one has declared their love for one another yet.faylan seems to have grown so much in the last few years. I love the fact that he stepped up to help Rytsar with Brie and Lily and now he is leading the search for Rytsar no one expected him to do so I was also proud of how strong he was when Marquis Grey did the flogging scene with Brie that scene was breath taking it was what she needed to be able to breathe again it was a breath of fresh air for her Marquis Grey always knows exactly what Brie needs when she needs it.this book show's how the BDSM community comes together in times of need to help one another.wheneveryone came together in sir's room to go help rescue Rytsar it was heartwarming to see how everyone was willing to put themselves in danger to help rescue Rytsar. the scene where Ms Clark came in and saw Sir for the first time since the plane crash was heartwarming. I just want to say I can't wait for the next book to come out I never want this series to end there is still so much to learn about the characters and their stories . They are just one big family. Red Phoenix you are my favorite author I'm honored to be able to read your books thank you for bringing Brie, Sir and the gang into my life your series has changed my life for the better.

Loved this book!!! The friends and family from the school stick together and do what needs to be done to protect or help the others. I cried over the taking of Rystar and feel their grief, he may be a sadistic Dom but he cares for those close to him and showed in every way. I am surprised at Mr Wallace and his desire to be such a help. I am glad that Mary is no longer pulling his strings. I want him to find his true submissive someone who will love him as much as he loves them. Brie is terrified over the whole ordeal and being pregnant, then there is Lily. I have loved this series and am dying to read the last book. Its been a long month and half waiting on this one. I don't want this series to end. Red Phoenix is a creative writer who has drawn all her fans in to this BSDM community and made us all family. She does not let her fans down!!!!!

This starts as a more in depth view of Faelan and Mary's rocky relationship. Then, Faelan is back in California...and that's when lots of danger and drama enfolds. Brie, Sir, Anderson, Marquis, the gangs all back to help. This is a quick, emotional, enjoyable read with so many memorable characters. I highly recommend reading this series in chronological order!

I have been a fan of Red Phoenix for years and have never been disappointed. This book is no exception! Her books are a special journey for anyone interested in BDSM and erotica reading. If you have never experienced her books, then you are missing out. The entire Brie Series is not to be missed. Under His Protection is the story of Todd Wallace, better known as Faelan in the BDSM community. A strong man with a troubled past, he is entrusted with protecting our heroine, Brie. There are many twists and turns but we learn more than ever before what makes Todd tick. Another wonderful journey learning about the characters we've been reading about for years. I would certainly recommend the entire series but if you choose to read this as your first book, Red Phoenix explains enough that you will get the gist of the series. But be warned...you will want to learn about all the multi-faceted characters in the dynamic series. You will be hooked with no hope of backing away from it. You will wonder why you waited so long to take this enlightening 'pleasure trip'!

Under His Protection is book 14 in Bries Submission Series by Red Phoenix and it is an amazing story about the wolf pup! This book helps you understand Faelan more as its his backstory. Mary and Faelan are finally coming to an end which has been coming for awhile. It broke him but it was for the best to let her go finally. Marquis Gray calls him and thats when things change, he has accepted the challenge to keep Brie safe no matter what. But when he goes to the Haven and a sub catches his eye he has to choose between her and loyalty. This book is filled with so many emotions but it made me love Faelan a little more. I cant wait to read more about him in later books! Red outdoes herself with this series and I am so glad I stumbled upon it!

Omg. This book fills so much of the back story on Faelan it's amazing. Faelan has always been locked in his own head. But not that you can see what the cause is you can understand. Faelan and Mary are coming to an end and to be honest it's a long time coming. Mary maybe a submissive and yes Faelan is a Dominant, but truly Mary suxs at it. Faelan has given her everything she craves and even then she is not satisfied. But when events from her past start up again and the person responsible is part of the community they are part of, why can't he just follow the rules. It breaks Faelan heart but he lets her go. When he he receives a called from Marquis Gray out of the blue shortly after his world has been detonated, he know where he is going. First stop his the Haven. But when Rytsar Durov shows up at the Marquis home things take a turn. Faelan steps in to protect Brie and the baby no matter the consequences. I don't want to give way this book I have already said to much. Please join me in reading this book. I would give it 5 / 5 stars. Wow!!!! Amazing story. This is a story of the journey the Wolfpup takes to become a Wolf. Faelan's story is filled with the pain he has carried with him since one fatal mistake he made as a 16 year old. This journey will touch your heart evoking every emotion you are capable of. Although heart wrenching at times that make you cry real tears you will also laugh out loud. The last chapter is so unexpected. The God of our universe was definitely at work here. Red you out did yourself with this story. This community never fails to come to the rescue of one of their own. If you have not read Brie's Submissive Series, start with the first box collection so you have the full impact of her journey. Thank-you Red for another brilliant journey into the lives of the training center. Looking forward to your next book.💕

Under His Protection tells the story about Faelan, the wolf pup. As much as I acknowledge that his story had to be told at this point in the Brie series, I have to admit that this wasn't my favorite. All I wanted to do was move forward and see how Sir and Brie are doing and how they will help Rytsar. I wanted to know the plan and who else would jump in. This is a very personal opinion and has absolutely nothing to do with Red Phoenix writing, which is great as always. But ever since the first days, Faelan and Mary aren't my fav characters and I didn't connect with them the way I do with all the others. The first part of this book is about Faelan and Mary’s story which is frustrating and drove me mad, because both are very complicated characters with some heavy history. They don't do each other good and as much as it helped to understand their dynamic, I just wanted to rip my hair out. They both deserve to find their HEA, but with the way things are, this will have to wait. Especially Faelan plays a big role now in finding Rytsar and helping him. You have to read the previous installments to understand everything. And I do look forward to the next part! I need my Rytsar back with Sir and Brie!

Another amazing book in this unbelievable series, I love where Red Phoenix has taken this series and it has gone from strength to strength, then just when you think it can't get any better it does. This book was a rollercoaster of emotions with some very sad revelations being revealed so be warned you will need tissues. I love how Faelan has grown up and changed so much throughout the series and this book gives us a deeper insight into his life. He has gone from being a trainee Dominant to become a true Master.

I never expected to see the story in Faelan's perspective and I am glad that I did. He surely has grown a lot in this series. The wolf pup has become a wolf. It is good to see how much he has matured and how much he has grown to forgive himself from his past. It is also good to see him stay close to the others of the center as well as of the community he is in. I was not able to put this book down and I am glad that I gave it a chance. I was not sure at first if I wanted to read Faelan's side of the equation, but I am glad that I did. There are not that many hot scenes in this book, but it does offer a new glimpse of the new and improved Todd. I truly recommend it.

Faelan has been living his life in regret for an accident in his youth. Each life experience has led him to be the man he is today. Confronting his past will allow him to move confidently into his future.
