It is Not light weight, you better have a/c. Bought it cause it was on my wife's "save for later" list and I didn't know what to get her for her bday. This is the softest most lovely conforter we have ever purchased and we love it. Great purchase and incredible value. Only issue I can see is it will be difficult to wash simply because of the huge size and bulk (we got the King XL-- scoping out a laundromat with a HUGE capacity tub. LOVE it!.
