Sony NEX-5TL/W Mirrorless Digital Camera with 16-50mm Power Zoom Lens (White)

I love this camera. Compact enough not to be obnoxious or make you look like some try-hard yuppie with their $3000 dslr they can barely use, all heavy and unweildy. This is sleek, light, attractive, and most importantly useable. It just takes nice pictures. If youre lazy it'll take nice pics automatically, if you wanna get more involved you can. If it had a viewfinder it would be perfect. You can buy one for it, but it costs a fortune and isnt really necessary but it just seems more natural to me to take a picture with the camera held up to the eye. I've gotten over that though. The wireless stuff works great, but if you have android 4.3+ you have to go into WiFi settings and disable something I can't remember "auto switch between WiFi and mobile" or some damn thing in order for it to properly work. Just Google it. My phone still switches automatically or whatever but now it seamlessly connects to the camera. Great buy, worth the money and the touchscreen isnt as unresponsive as ppl say. Mine seems like a typical capacitive touchscreen.

My mother owns this camera so I already had a chance to use it before I bought it. I would classify myself as a serious amateur photographer right now (previously did professional photography and have had professional training). I have a Nikon DSLR that I enjoy, but the drawback is it's bulky, heavy (in comparison to the Sony), and I have to be intentional about using it. What I love about the Sony is that it is small, lightweight, and takes amazing photos for its size. I also like the creativity features (various shooting modes), the ability to do panoramas, and the fact that you can take beautiful hand-held night photos with automatic exposure being right on, or near right on. This camera is so flexible while maintaining quality and it allows you to be spontaneous and creative. I actually carry this camera with me all the time because it is so small and lightweight (I keep it in my purse and I have a medium-size purse, or I put it in a messenger bag I sometimes carry). No more missing great shots because my camera is at home. I used to work as a photo-journalist and I like shooting unique and day-in-the-life types of shots. Although cell phone cameras can meet the need for some of these types of photos, for me I really like having the option of taking a higher quality photo with various modes and settings in - literally - my back pocket. That being said, there are a few things I don't like. The biggest drawback for me is the lack of a viewfinder - much too hard to use an LED screen and see what you're really getting, at least for me. I know you can add one (and some day I plan to), but the cost is about $325. And because of it's small size, it can sometimes be awkward using the buttons/dials. But I guess you can't have everything and I am willing to work with these things because the benefits of this camera outweigh the drawbacks.

When I first got this camera, I absolutely fell in Love with it! The quality of the pictures and the videos is just amazing! The only reason why I requested a return was because the camera wouldn't charge especially with the charger that came with it. I tries using another USB cable, but it wouldn't work. So because of the defective piece I had to return it and I was a little disappointed with it. I will probably buy it from another vendor but Sony NEX 5T is definitely worth my hard earned bucks.

Love this camera, touch screen, WiFi, can easily send files from camera to phone. The screen pops out and can be moved above for filming which is not only cool, but allows you to check the view while looking at the lens unlike side viewfinders that make you look like an SNL host struggling to read the cue cards! I give this 10 stars, but Amazin is keeping the budget low and offering just 5 stars, even when I offered to pay for the other 5! What are you going to do?!?

I love photograph and bought this camera. But to my astonishment, the screen is bent and this is obviously a defect product. I regret that I didn't buy it from Sony. Now I have to return it and pay the shipping fee myself.

When it works, the camera takes great pictures, but after 4 months of ownership, I started getting an error message that the camera can't recognize the lens (I had not dropped or otherwise damaged the camera or lens). Sony's customer support for trying to get the issue fixed has been terrible (their site is hard to navigate, they direct you to a repair service in CT that has a reputation for keeping your camera for weeks and/or losing it). I wish I'd known how common this issue is before I'd bought the camera and I would have gotten something that can stand up to normal use a little better.

This is my first compact digital camera and I am glad I opted for this one and not the other Sony cameras. The one thing I wanted in a camera was a flip screen or a selfie screen in addition to the quality and simplicity of the camera. Everyone who sees my camera loves it and I am not disappointed one bit. I would highly recommend this camera to beginners.

I'm so satisfied with my Sony NEX-5TL/S since I got it. Though not new but its sparkling like new. Sony did great job here, they've just got to include a 3.5mm microphone jack for high quality video recording.

今持っていた NEX-5Rが故障していたので、同製品を探していたのですが、たまたま後継機種をみつけ 購入。 知らずに購入し、スマホからシャッターが切れる機能があり、ビックリです。 ５％還元もあり、だい満足です。

性能は、α6000のほうが良いと思います。 しかし、NEX5Ｔでも十分な性能で、ボディーが金属製、そして、価格は、ＮＥＸ５～ＮＥＸ７あたりが手ごろで魅力。 α6000のつくりはプラスチックだということと、ちょっとデザインが変わったことで自分は、こちらにしました。 NEX5Tは、ストロボが外付けでついてきます。ファインダーは別に買わなければなりませんで、結構高いものです。無理して買いました。ＮＥＸ７ならばどちらも内蔵しています。付属品としてついてくる 標準ズームレンズ E PZ 16-50mm がとても優れもの、撮った写真を見るとすごい描写力です。
