Best ring light!
I originally ordered a Neewer because it was cheaper and boy was that a mistake! It came poorly packed and when my bulb was broken I couldn't find replacements to order online anywhere!!! Once Amazon refunded me for that bad experience I dropped the extra money for this Diva light.SO worth it!!! It came well cushioned and neatly packed. Arrived next day shipping fully in tact. There were even small protective foam pieces snapped in around the bulb. Includes an adjustable flexi stem and a camera mount. I ordered the suggested cowboy 803 stand for it and while it supports the weight it does feel flimsy so I'm going to sandbag my light down.It is beautiful and BRIGHT !!! It will blind you haha. But it comes with a diffuser so that's a bonus. Amazing light. Just playing with it in my living room I was so impressed already ! I am a cosmetologist and I can't wait to take pics of my hair and makeup clients in the salon with this beautiful light. It gives a beautiful soft glow to the skin and that lovely ring effect in the eyes.I'm so happy with my purchase , if you're hesitating on this because of the price do not !!! Save and wait until you can afford it. You will be satisfied.

No more forehead shadows cast on your eyes
Yessss! This is a game changer. If you're recording videos without one, go look at your face in old footage and see if you have a shadow under your eyes from your forehead. This fixes it. I do virtual training and online videos for my customers. This light ring is part of setting up a studio that stays set up so that it's fast and easy to have good lighting.Pros:- Dimmer! This model with the dimmer is a huge deal. Other products might be too bright and you can't do anything about it. When I shoot in the daytime next to a window, I use a different setting than I do at night.- On/off switch: I like that it's not on just because it is plugged in.- Diffuser cloth: This helps a lot - not just for the results on camera, but also for your eyeballs because you can look at the camera without feeling Blinded By The Light (<--- yes, now you'll sing that song all day).- Multiple Mounting Hardware Options: there's a z-bracket and a gooseneck so that you can pick what works. I bought a tiny tripod that works perfectly for my standing desk. All in, it's about 3ft tall with the tripod + diva ring.Cons:- You have to get used to looking at your camera in the middle of a ring of light. That can be disorienting or dizzying at first.- It's big - so it's a little imposing to leave out in a home office. In a studio, you wouldn't notice the size. For me, it is on a desk, so it surprised me (even though I read the specs...I didn't really register them in my brain).

Really Great, with a few small gotchas.
First of let me say I really love this light. It's a nice cool 5500k bright white light. It comes packaged very nicely in a safe rectangular box. When you open the box it's Styrofoam supports everywhere, so you know the bulb is okay. Mine came with the white softbox cover affixed already, and I realized I had to take it off in order to get a bunch of Styrofoam out of the inside of the unit itself. It comes with two mounts that you can screw on. An L Bracket that allows you to affix the unit on a tripod and the camera in the center of the ring. The L-bracket has two middle hand-screws that allow you to raise and lower your camera to get it where you want it. The other mount is an articulating arm that can attach to any light stand. Both of these brackets affix by screwing them on to the unit with two (provided) phillips screws.I tried it first with the camera bracket, which works great. But for lighting reasons I needed to get it away from the camera, so I switched to the articulating arm, which in my opinion, is even better. If you have a small light stand you can spare, you can still bend the arm to shoot through it with the camera, but you can also quickly move the unit around anywhere. You're not married to the camera position. The quality of the light is very soft and was flattering on the two Caucasian female subjects I tried it on. I did use the provided soft material cover to make sure the light was as soft as possible. The ballast is just ok. I found that dimming the unit doesn't do much until you are at the tail end of the dimmer, then it fades off rather quickly. This isn't a huge deal for me, but it's good to know.I also found the cord a little short for my taste, but I think most companies assume you have extension cords lying around. Also, as anyone who is researching buying a ring light knows by now, it does put those ring patterns in to your subjects eyes when looked at straight on. For some this is desirable, for others not, it's a matter of taste. One thing no one talks about is glasses. If you have any light pointed right at a subject wearing glasses, you will see it reflected in them. In this case you will see giant white circles in each lens, which is not very desirable. These are the main reasons I am knocking off one star. The final reason is the price for what this unit is. You can get a set of two fluorescent softboxes that can achieve the same or better results for about 1/6th the price. That makes this specific unit a luxury item. With that being said, if you are in the market for a luxury item, it may be worth it to look in to LED units that are a little more costly but offer changing color temps and better dimming.

Great product! Bright light and came exactly as expected
Great product! Bright light and came exactly as expected. It was a bit tricky to put together the camera mount and lighting tripod, but after that, it was super easy to use: just a on and off button and dimmer switch. The only thing that I didn't like was the instability of the light when using a traditional tripod, I would definitely invest in a lighting tripod to hold up such an expensive light. So far the quality looks totally worth the money!

Good but..
Love the ring light. Great quality. I had a neewer ring light that I needed to replace because it broke, and this one is so much nicer. The reason I gave it 3 Stars, is because I feel like, for the price point it should have at least came with a protective carrying case or at least the tripod. Luckily it fit my neewer ring light tripod.
