Great alliterative to a Pelican Case so far
I recently purchased a new projector for business purposes. It did not come with a case. I wanted to get a hard case for it to protect against damage caused by traveling, storing it, etc. Amazon recommended a case for around $50 that was supposedly built for the projector. I read all of the reviews, and while many were positive, the consensus was that the case was a light duty thin walled plastic box. I have other equipment I store in a Pelican case and have been extremely pleased with it. Thats the style and quality of case I was used to and thats what I wanted to protect my expensive electronic equipment this time around as well. However, for this purchase, I didn't want to spend $200+ for a comparable product from Pelican. I found Nanuk by chance when I was searching for an alternative. Reviews sounded good. The product looked good, their website gave me confidence and over all the product seemed to fit my criteria. The price was $114 on Amazon for a black Nanuk 925 case (the size I needed). For an extra $64 over the light duty case and a savings of about $120 over the Pelican Case, I thought this was worth a try.So far this case is Bad A**! Comparing My Pelican Case to the Nanuk 925 Side by side, I can't tell the difference in quality. The main difference I can see is with the latches. I like the Nanuk hinges better than the Pelican. They grab the top of the case and pull it down tight to make the seal. The Pelican Case I have closes neatly and the latches close nicely, but the Nanuk just feels like it makes a tighter seal. The Nanuk Case came with 2 pieces of special cubed foam inside (1 to use and 1 spare) that i was easily able to separate to make a perfect fit for the projector and accessories. The carry handle feels like the Pelican Case and the outer shell looks and feels similar. Aside from the latches, the only difference appears to be that Pelican is made in the US and It sounds like Nanuk is made in China. If I were a brand snob and had more money to spend, I'd go with Pelican hands down. However, quality, functionality and price are important factors to me for this purchase, and so far, this case appears to be the best deal that I have found for my situation. I'd recommend this case to anyone looking for a solid weather proof high quality plastic case for protecting their gear.

Great case to store DSLR camera and two lenses.
Great case for my camera (a Canon 7D) and a couple lenses (canon 50mm 1.4 and a canon 10-22mm). I've had it for a few weeks and am happy enough with it to post a review. I've also attached a couple photos. This is my first time buying a product like this, so I really have nothing to compare it to. Being a photography hobbyist I wanted somewhere to properly store my camera that would protect it for the few weeks it's not being used regularly. This case so far is perfect. And since I've bought it, it took one fall from a dinner table, and my equipment was safe and worked fine later that day. The case itself didn't have a single scratch on it. While I hope it will never fall from a higher position, I'm pretty confident that, if it did, the camera and lenses inside the case would be fine. The case also seals well to keep out dust and water. The padding is a bit of a pain to shape. I had to spend an afternoon with an x-acto knife cutting out the shapes to fit my equipment (approximately 2 hours). It comes with two thick pads for the bottom part of the case, so it's possible to create a "bi-level" setup where one keeps smaller items in the bottom pad, and cut out spaces for larger items in the top pad. I did this so I could keep things like a wireless remote trigger, a couple memory cards, and a small manfrotto tripod (link to Manfrotto MTPIXI-B PIXI Mini Tripod, Black) under the padding that holds my camera and lenses.

Nice Case.
I received a case for Christmas and it was a Amazon no name case but I was going to use it for my electrical supplies like soldering gun terminals etc. It was OK but I got shorted the foam. I ordered this Nanuk case and it arrived today and it is so much better, The way the latches close and the top fits is like night and day. I have Pelican cases at work and the Nanuk case is better than the Pelican Case. I will be buying more cases in the future and I'm ordering Namuk.

This is a good little case that works perfectly for my purposes
This is a good little case that works perfectly for my purposes, securing my gear and keeping it safe. The latches are sturdy and dependable, it accepts padlocks and it got through its first airline flight as a checked bag without any problems. The only thing I don't love about this case is that the design makes it possible to pinch a finger between the handle and the top of the case when moving the handle up from the locked down flat position to pick up the case. I've learned to grasp the handle squarely in the middle so that this doesn't happen, but a differently-shaped handle might be a good idea to eliminate these potential pinch points on either side. That small quibble aside, I do like this case and have found no other issues with it.

My favorite hard cases
Quality of the materials and weatherproofing on these is on par with pelican at a better price. The 925 is a very versatile size. The Nanuks are slicker in appearance than the pelican which might make them more prone to scratches with really rough use but I haven't had any notable wear on my other Nanuk cases so I was confident in buying this one. The latches are more secure than Apache. The foam insert is of top quality. It cushions well and and is easy to adjust to whatever you need to protect.

Great
Great case, I use it for storing eigthteen harmonicas vertculity, one Lone Wolf delay pedal and my Sure Green Bullet mic, plus a couple of cables. A little on the heavy side put it protects my equiptment. Cutting out the form insert into the shape that I needed was painless I used a razorblade knife for cutting and then just pulled out the pieces by hand. I like that this product is a Canadian company and not made in China or India.

Super Tough Build Quality
Love it! Same or even better quality than Pelican cases at just about half the price. Very sturdy build quality with an excellent seal, strong handle and provisions to lock the cases with padlocks. Easily holds 2 large frame semi automatic pistols with spare magazines and room to spare. Would definitely recommend to a friend!

perfect for Canon
Always wanted to organize my photo equipment in one secure, dust/water proof and easy to transport case. This one is big enough to fit Canon 5D, EF 24-70 2.8L, EF 50 1.2L, EF 135 2.0L, EF 24 1.4L, Speedlite 470EX flash and minor accessories. You can adjust the foam as you like.

A tough case to crack
I put my things in it and they stay in it.What more could I want?I think it’s waterproof, but I’m reluctant to fill it with water to test that feature out as it would be quite heavy when it’s full of water. I’ll take their word for it.

Sturdy case
Customizable foam inside I cut up for some collectible safekeeping, happy with the sturdy tight case. Ended up buying more of a larger size. Not the cheapest for what it is but if you've got valuables or fragiles, good choice.

Great case
Bought this case to transport an Akai MPC One while on tour. It’s very well built, priced well and fits as carry-on on both domestic and international flights. Happy purchase.
