**Q: how many months does its battery last? Also how much does it record**
A: I use AA Lithium batteries. I record an image every 10 minutes from 6:00am to 6:00pm. I use a 32 gigabyte memory card. The average daily file is approximately 20 megabytes. I've changed the batteries every four months. The camera still showed the batteries as being full, but I changed them just to be safe.

**Q: does this only take video or can it tack still shots at set intervals?**
A: It takes still shots at the interval you decide on and then assembles them into a video at the frame rate you decide.  Awesome product!  I've shared some of the videos of our construction on our Facebook page; www.Facebook.com/eddylinepub

**Q: Do you people really think the video quality is "great"? I have this camera and I'd call the quality mediocre at best, not good for detail.**
A: I wouldn't say it is "great", but it is pretty good for the price. I would say it certainly met my expectations.

**Q: what is the typical size for the videos that auto created by the camera. Is it always 2 minutes regardless of how long you wanted to record?**
A: I am using two of these cameras to capture a construction project at work. They have been recording for several months now. I usually download the video files every month or so and use Movie maker to create the video. I try to keep my videos under 5 minutes. The files themselves are usually 1.3M to 1.5M. I'm not sure what controls that file size. Hope this helps
