4 Flame Willow Tree Cuttings - Vibrant Orange and Red Bark - Unique Trees to Grow

I purchased these in 2019. I followed the instructions and two survived. Follow up 2025, both are over 30 feet tall. I highly recommend.

I ordered 40 products on May 5th in a wide range of willows/trees. Over half died. I contacted seller they were quick to respond but did not follow through with replacing.I kept the branches in water and was sure to change the water 3-4 days apart. A week and a half some sprouted roots but I lost 7 that did not sprout so I contacted seller. A week later a dozen more were lost. Some branches did not take to the planting. The ones that did make it are doing ok but lost two earlier this week. Next time I will find friends that have trees themselves and ask for clippings before trying this again.

The cuttings took a long time to develop roots but they all have great roots and buds.Thank you

Was super excited about these. Got them and followed the directions that came with. Soaked them in water like was said to do so and 1 out of the 5 sticks sent actually started to root where the others just died. After planting and watering and more watering the 1 that seemed like it might work ended up dying as well. Tried multiple times to get a hold of the seller and no response I wouldn’t recommend these. There wasn’t an option for a zero star rating. I can understand 1 or 2 not working but having all 5 fail was pretty disappointed. Ordered a bundle of other willow trees from a different company and those seem to be doing great!

Cuttings arrived in great condition. I immediately put them directly into a jar of water to begin rooting. After about ten days, I transplanted each of them into a 2 gallon container in NON-fertilized potting mix, watered them daily and they are thriving. ADVICE: They are small enough to be shipped by US mail and put into your mailbox. Your mailbox might be hotter than an oven in the summertime, so check for them daily or track them (if possible) Wouldn’t take long to dry out the paper they are wrapped in. I was so pleased that I bought several more orders from this company.

I have meticulously followed the instructions. So far only one of the four ordered is showing any sign of life. Still waiting but not very hopeful.
