Almost returned it but glad I didn't
While it was still in the plastic bag I placed it on my Corningware A-2-B baking dish and was disappointed to see that while it was the right shape, the size was a little small. I felt sure it wasn't going to be able to stretch enough to fit on the dish. Figured I might as well leave it untouched in the bag for the return. I actually processed the return and then thought, well, I probably should take it out of the bag and see for sure. Guess what - yes, it needed a little stretching, but it fits fine. Glad I checked!

As long as you have the proper item code, this product fits very nicely! My old one's handles were shot after many years of use.

Perfect for freezing
These lids fit VERY tight. Perfect for freezing casseroles for later use. Also works well in the refrigerator. They have held up to repeated freeze/thaw cycles. I only wash them by hand for longevity.

While the cover may not look as good as the original item, the cover provides a perfect fit and looks very neat.

Corning lid
Oh man, does this ever solve my refrigerator storage issue for my very old Corningware casserole dish. Couldn't find for the longest time and it fits!!!

Fit my 40 year old 2 qt. Corningware
This lid fits my 40 yo 2 qt corningware casserole perfectly. The glass lid has long been lost. I decided on the silicone lid replacement because it would be easier to store in the cabinet and be more secure for taking to pot lucks. If I had the blue and white patterned corningware that is now deemed valuable, I might have splurged for the glass lid replacement, lol.
