Super Clamp Super Clamp 2 S/C-2

I've been using Super Clamps to hold snowmobiles to my trailers for 20+ years. I always include them when I sell a trailer as it adds value and makes the trailer easier to sell. So, this will be my third set of clamps that I have bought over the years. So quick and easy to clamp down the skis to the the trailer, just align the hook in the center and move the lever to the lock position. It is possible to install a padlock to secure the sled if you like but we now have an enclosed trailer so we just use the safety plug included to keep the handle in the locked position.

I built a deck inside the bed of my truck to protect it from my ski carbides,, among other things. While shopping for ski guides and traction mats, I came across these clamps for front skis and the rear skid. I got them. What great products! Relatively easy to install, secure, and can be put in place and tightened standing next to my truck! No kneeling and screwing, or ratchet straps. Clean, attractive security for my baby! Pro tip: Have your sled where you want it to be, then figure out where the mounting brackets need to be for best results. I was lazy, not wanting to pull my sled out of storage to do that. I was good on the front, luckily, but had to move the rear clamp after I loaded the sled.

I have been using ratchet straps for 4 years on my new trailer and it has become a pain in the butt considering how the snowmobiles have to be secured. My trailer would be considered a "In-line" trailer since one row of sleds face forward and the 2 row next to the first row face backwards. This is all done on a 7'x18' foot utility trailer and there is little to no room for sleds to move since I am squeezing in 4 Ski-doo Renegades and the skis and tail end have to hang off 12-14"s off the front to make this work. With the new Superclamp, just hook and tighten. I'm not worried about ice or slush or road salt getting on these since it's mostly composite type plastic. One thing I may have missed or misunderstood, the clamp does come with the loop that is installed into the trailer flooring to clamp too. So when ordering, Amazon shows adding a loop, you do not need it unless your using one Superclamp in several locations. Also, the loops do not fold down, they stick up 2" from the decking creating a good toe stubber if you have them installed in the middle of the trailer for the 2nd sleds coming up. Delivery was quick so I am happy with the delivering timing.

Purchased a pair in Nov 2021 through amazon at $175 a piece. After using them for a season, they are worth every dollar and I would recommend them to everyone....believe me, you will not regret the purchase! PRO's - very high quality, well built and easy to use. Takes about 5 seconds to tie down sled with a single click. Can install a padlock on these if you so desire. I have a 2017 and 2020 Polaris, both with pro-steer plastic skis and have no issue with the fitting, they are very adjustable as far as carbide and/or ski height goes. Shipping and delivery was not an issue. They use the existing tie down bolt holes and comes with all the mounting hardware. Overall, am very very pleased with these tie downs! There are no Con's that I can think of.

I haul in a clamshell and tbh I don’t even secure the back. These are fantastic. Pull in, lock the clamp, cya later. 10 seconds to tie down one sled. Well worth the money

Quality product, easy to use, and a time saver. Only you can decide if they are worth the cost. I’m on the fence leaning towards yes.
