The Perfect Car Mount for a CX-5
I have a 2021 Mazda CX-5 and wants a car mount which can charge my iPhone 12 through its back through induction charge. This mount is easy to install - it pops in quickly and securely in the space between two front center air vents; I still have access to the emergency blinker and knobs for the air vent. Initially I was put off by the phone holder/charger which is pretty light weight and looks flimsy but it clips into the mount through a metal piece securely. I was surprised how well it works - it holds my iPhone 12 securely and the induction charge works perfectly. Overall the entire package looks great, as though it's a factory OEM equipment.I also added a wireless Apple CarPlay adapter and now i can quickly put my iphone into the holder and remove it quickly without needing to plug in any cable.

Perfect for my CX-5
I have a 2021 Mazda CX-5 Touring and was looking for a good mount for my Samsung S20+. I didn't want to get an air vent holder since I knew it would just drag the vent down and possible break it due to my phone being so heavy. I also didn't want to get a dashboard mount since I have a screen right smack in the middle. I almost gave up when I saw this. I saw the excellent reviews and ran it through Fakespot. It fits perfectly in between the vents, it doesn't get in the way of my hazard button or airflow. Easy snap install, didn't damage or scratch my console. Don't hesitate on buying, it's well worth it!!!

Perfect fit for my 2017 CX-5
Perfect fit for my 2017 cx-5 and strong magnet for my phone. Works best if the magnetic disc is placed on the outside of the phone case.

Easy to Remove. Unfortunately, did not fit my iPhone 14Pro Max.
If you need to remove yours like I did, just flex the mount on the right side, first the right lower edge then the right upper edge.What you can do is pop the tiny little plastic hooks out voila and the mount falls right off.Repeat on the right lower edger and right upper edge.Wish it would charge the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Also wasn’t expecting the motorized holder and charging.

Read Before You Buy 2018 Mazda CX-5 Owners !
Purchased for the 2018 Mazda CX-5 Touring. So disappointed that this did not work as described. Does not hold an iPhone X with a case. It would separate the case from the phone on each side. Then, the dash mount as stuck to the dash. I had to used a flathead screwdriver and butter knife to pry it off thankfully without damaging the leather on the dash. This item is being returned.

It works!
We have a 2018 CX-5. This unit snaps on like it's supposed to and works great, however, if you have a thick case, you'll need to get a new thin case or take it out of the case to use this. The 'hands' that hold the phone do not adjust out for thicker cases. I bought my wife a thin case and now it all works.
