**Q: Will i just be able to plug it into my sannce security camera system and itll work automatically or do i have to program it first?**
A: Need to depends on you system (NVR). Professional security system like Long Plus or CST they have to secure program (data lock) to prevent data stealing. If you have a DVR that without data lock. Then everyone can easily pull out your record if they have your hard drive.

**Q: My nvr does have ports for a hdd Dvr but this seagate does not come this to connect? What’s the deal**
A: For his type HDD your DVR must have an SATA connection it will not connect to an IDE.

A: Hot swap is a function of NVR or Server, NOT hard drive.

**Q: Does this hard drive work with a swann dvr?**
A: I think yes...

Easy hookup,you can do it yourself,very quiet,cant hear it at all,enough memory for over 3 months for 10 security cameras,the other one that came with dvr only lasted a year so get insurance for your dvr
