**Q: Please could you confirm its prevent weeds from growing growing**
A: It will inhibit weeds from growing only if spread on the surface thickly, but pernicious weeds will always get through and a thick layer of sand will not look very attractive. A circle of sharp sand round slug-susceptible plants will inhibit slug ingress. I use it in the bottom of the hole dug for new plants in order to assist drainage and mixed with soil to increase root growth, as with horticultural grit.

**Q: When I placed this order on 26/4/21 it was next day delivery so why is it not now being delivered till 1st-5th May?**
A: I don't know. Presumably there is a shortage.

**Q: Am I right in thinking I can point my patio with this and water will drain through? Thank you 😊**
A: Water will certainly pass through it. I wouldn't advise the use of sharp sand for pointing in wide gaps between slabs, without cement, but it could be brushed into narrow gaps between paviours for example.

**Q: How many sq metres does a 25kg bag cover at 50mm depth?**
A: Roughly 1 sq metre
