Very pleased with this camera. Works great with transmitter http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00P92HPTS. I used the red power plug from the transmitter, so no need to wire it up. Has control wires that when connected in certain combinations allow a reversed image for rear use and you can also turn the reverse guide lines on and off. The control wires are very simple to use, no worries. Image quality is not great, but is sufficient. Camera is pretty small and they provide the hardware to mount by bracket or flush.

I purchased this camera January of 2016. It arrived in a few days. I hooked it up to my Pioneer AVH-P1400DVD double DINN head unit and it works flawlessly. Install and hook up were very simple and the image quality is just as advertised (if not better) low light is wonderful and bright sun has a hard time washing out the image. The guide lines work great and the camera has saved me a bump or two in the parking garage (soul reason for the purchase). Never fails in rain, subzero cold or the 100F degree days we had last summer. GREAT Camera!

This is a good little camera for the price. I routed it to a Pioneer AVIC X940BT head unit with a SPST switch tied to the reverse sensor wire. The resolution is acceptable, but certainly not spectacular. It works well in darkness. The instructions are very detailed and easy to understand. I used it for a front camera, but it can be set for rear view (mirror image) by simply twisting two wires together. You can also turn the distance lines off and on by attaching or detaching another wire. Make sure you don't get a rear-only camera if you're going to mount it in the front, or your image will be backwards. I would buy this again.

Amazing camera especially if you search a FRONT CAMERA. I spent few days searching such a camera and I also ordered one camera which pretended to be front back but wasn't. Of course I returned it back. Coming to this camera quality is ok , having in mind that I am interested to see the objects around when I park the car and nothing more fancy... regarding the angle I think is pretty ok, I did not mount the camera but seems ok. The most important part is that the camera cable has 3 wires (white blue and red) that can configure the behaviour of the camera. connecting all wires together camera will behave as REVERSE camera with lines. disconnecting all wires will set camera as FRONT WITHOUT lines. So if you intend to use this camera with a split box to display several cameras (3 in my case) on same LCD Display , you do not need the mirror function in the splitter because the camera do the right job. So this is a true FRONT or REVERSE Camera. Is also very small, and has two options to mount it (with the delivered clip from the image or drilling a hole in bumper and insert the camera . the drill is of course provided). package is unbelievable small, and I had the fear that Amazon delivered me an incomplete product :). As I did not install it , I cannot say anything about Waterproof attribute and it reliability. Until now the product is exactly as advertised.

After my wife's new car came with cameras installed I was quite jealous that my fancy BMW did not, and the dealer wanted several thousand $ to make it happen! I found a relatively cheap add on video card with BMW OEM back up camera but it was $200 more for a front camera, I bought this camera to upgrade the front view. This camera has worked flawlessly (and possible even better than the BMW OEM rear camera) for over a year.

The camera itself was of good quality, I think it produces a good picture. Unfortunately, the cable I received had a bad secondary wire, which I didn't realize until after I installed it in the car. I ended up just running another line to the back of the car. Also, I cut the white wire to reverse the camera view based on the manual and the label on the wire "Mirror". Instead this caused the camera to display the parking guidelines. Disappointing because everything else with the camera was great.

First I bought a system from Tadi Brothers good quality monitor and color camera, I ended up keeping the monitor but the camera wasn’t suitable for my application. So I bought this little flush mount camera and it fits on my motorhome with out having to cut new holes in my rear cap. Perfect for what I’m doing and it sends a great color picture to my new monitor. Now I’m thinking I’m going to buy another Pyle camera for curbside mount. My new monitor has 2 camera capabilities . Win, win, and win.

Am not sure if others got their from Amazon or through one of the vendors who sell through amazon. But mine came from Amazon and where genuine Pyle camera's with all parts, cables and manuals. For my purposes they are working great. But to be honest am not using them as rear view cameras. I use them mounted to front bumper and under truck as "trail" cameras for offroading. For this purpose the cameras have been working great. They give me a fairly clear field of view, with a slight fish eye effect. They do fairly well in low light and shade and are very clear in the daylight. Overall I am happy with them for the cost of the cameras.

Picture quality is as expected for this price point. Nice in the day, a bit grainy at night. The wires you cut to mirror the picture or add the parking guide are mislabeled! Cut the opposite wire!

Es buena camara, pero personalmente creo que debería ser más rápida, si bien en zonas oscuras es muuy sensible y de noche parece de dia, el problema es que de dia se satura la imagen, pero es buena.

la imagen sale descentrada por defecto de la cámara, para verla imagen recta hay que torcer la cámara y no queda bien estéticamente.
