Great Product. Dual bandwidth.

So this one is nice and comes with pen drive kinda look. Works on both usb 2 and fast usb 3 port. If you have faster usb port u can use it to get best speed else it will still work but will ask u to use faster usb for better experience. This one does come with a CD for driver (Why? Why? Why?) so don't get shocked when u see that as you can always connect to internet and download the relevant driver from their website. Use other methods to connect and get latest driver or if you do have a CD drive then use that instead. Great signal strength, easy to use and compatible with old laptop. Overall a good value for money device.

This is a great Wi-Fi adapter for the PC/Laptop, and it can give excellent transfer speed. It can support up to IEEE 802.11ac Wi-Fi standard with 5 GHz connectivity. Even though it should give a transfer rate of 11 Mbps to 867 Mbps, practically it gives around 14 Mbps (1.75 MB/s) transfer rate, when connected with other types of Wi-Fi adapters (that are not IEEE 802.11ac). It has an indicator light for the data transfer, which makes it quite useful. It supports only USB 3.0, but would have been better if it supported USB 3.1/3.2 too. However, the big disappointment about this product is that it is available with both hardware versions V1 and V1.80 (latest) but Amazon has only the old version. 👍LIKES: • Sleek and slim design. • Can give good signal strength even without any external antenna. • Supports IEEE 802.11ac Wi-Fi standard with 5 GHz connectivity. • Works with the Windows 11 driver. • Transfer rate is better than the onboard Wi-Fi adapter of PC/Laptop. • Comes with 3yrs warranty. 👎DISLIKES: • Does not support IEEE 802.11ax. • Does not support USB 3.1/3.2. • No option to connect an external antenna. • Body is not metallic. • Not having life-time warranty. 👉RECOMMENDATION: As per the price, this Wi-Fi adapter is somewhat expensive but it does the job nicely. This adapter will help your laptop/desktop which are not able to connect to 5Ghz band. I have a 5 year old Dell Inspiron 7537 which I have upgraded to 16GB ram and 512GB SSD and it gets the job done, however it was not able to connect to 5GHZ Jio Network. So I purchased this adapter to enable high speed internet on my laptop. It works as expected, I am able to connect to the network and the speed is faster as expected than the 2.4GHz band. Pros 1. Able to connect to 5Ghz with a bit better speed 2. Easy to install if you have Windows 10 no need to do anything, also has compatibility with Mac Cons 1. A bit bigger so sticks out, however this might be the reason it gives good range

Best device for my home desktop which I used to connect internet through cat5e LAN cable, now it is having 5GHz band to get the same wirelessly... Wow!

I was on usb cable connected to my phone for internet for years. This really saved me the hassle of doing that setup the whole time. I don't have Lan cables and I like that it didn't require me to install any software to work. I am on win 10 desktop.

Positives: 1) The range on this is very good! I use it for my pc which is up one floor and through a room from my router and I get max signal strength. 2) Very easy to set up, literally just plug it into your computer, it should detect it automatically as a network adaptor. (right click the wifi logo on the taskbar, click 'open network and internet settings' and 'change adaptor options' to view the network adaptors on windows 10) I didn't have to install any drivers to make it work but you might need to if your computer does not detect it automatically. 3) Very small. No dongle or antennae and doesn't seem to affect the performance. 4) Reaches the max speed available (for me 100Mbps) Drawbacks: 1) I play a lot of games and sometimes the latency spikes to around 50/60 or even 400/500 or 1000 briefly before going back down to 20 in a few seconds which is annoying but its not that bad. The spikes vary, sometimes it happens every 5 minutes and the next day you wouldn't get a single spike and remain on 20ping. 2) This is a rare issue a couple times since owning it but sometimes the latency will spike to a stupid high number and stay there and the only solution is to plug and unplug it then its fine. For browsing the internet, streaming videos/music and general stuff I highly recommend this product, works almost flawlessly for this. If you're looking to use this for gaming then its very good for its price and size although its not ideal but most usb connectors won't be good for gaming. If you're strapped for cash then its definitely good enough to use for gaming.

Depuis toujours, je fais confiance à TP-link pour les transmissions wifi... Venant de changer de boitier internet (fibre optique) pour un nouvel ensemble dernier cri, je souhaitais changer mes clé réceptrices pour pouvoir profiter au maximum de mon nouveau super réseau bi-band ! Alors, j'ai tout changé ! Et pour mon pc portable, équipé en usb3, qui n'avait déjà pas de problème de transmission avant, j'ai choisi cette clé au débit de transmission maximum ! Bien m'en a pris ! Parfaitement intégré à l'ensemble de mes appareils, mon pc portable ainsi équipé et si simplement installé, est maintenant une vrai fusée transmettrice au cœur de mon réseau mu-mimo 2.4 et 5ghertz ! Aucun appareil ne perturbe les autres, tous ont accès au meilleur du réseau et tout s'est installé avec facilité ! La promesse est tenue ! Toute ma famille et moi, nous voilà équipés et reliés au monde avec ce qui se fait de mieux pour les années à venir ! Je n'ai pas encore fait la bascule avec la technologie 4k. Cela n'est pas encore au menu du jour. Je n'exprime donc ma satisfaction et mon constat que sur des chargements de gros fichiers et sur de la vidéo hd. Mais la promesse et les tests de transmissions effectués présagent d'une adaptation parfaite avec ce réseau. Bref, l'inébranlable qualité promise par tp-link pour un réseau wifi de qualité et évolué est bien là ! J'en suis un témoins depuis plusieurs mois ! Alors, si comme moi, vous avec eu la chance d'être équipé d'une box dernier cri bi-band mu-mimo, faites confiance au meilleur du matériel qu'on puisse trouver sur le marché. Toutes vos transmissions seront radicalement transformées ! Fini les disputes pour savoir qui "pompe" le plus la bande passante, fini les crises dues aux interruptions de transmission, fini les limites de distances qu'on doit palier en rajoutant toujours plus de relais de transmission, de boitiers répéteurs, d'amplificateurs ! Et enfin, fini les heures (voir les jours) de téléchargement nécessaires pour avoir les derniers jeux.... La fibre vous permets tout ça ! Mais il faut aussi l'accompagner des bonnes clé usb pour bénéficier. Alors allez au plus simple. Moi je l'ai fait en choisissant ce super héro du wifi, la clé AC1300mbps. Je sais ça fait cliché, mais c'est vrai, c'est un indispensable et moi je leur dit merci à tp-link. Leur matériel est de qualité, simple à installer et durable. Mais ce n'est que mon avis... Installation is quick. My only issue is that if the adapter runs with the supplied TP-Link driver software, it will not work properly. My Wi-Fi kept disconnecting and reconnecting by itself every 10~ seconds. However, once I uninstalled the software and let Windows install its default drivers, the adapter works like a charm. My advice? If you get this adapter, simply plug-and-play and forgo the supplied driver software.
