I have books with varying topics from the history of Louis Vuitton, to Jonathan Green's Geechee/Gullah Art. The Christian Louboutin book, however is so "girlie" that I had to have a special place to display so that "I" could enjoy moreso than my guests. It is the perfect book for a wardrobe room or sewing room. I have not read it in its entirety and it will more than likely take me some time to do so, as it is detailed and picturesque. The "pop-up" is amazing. If you have any reservations about purchasing this book, dismiss them right away and order before it they are all gone. As you can imagine, I get burnt out on placing stones on the same style shoe. At the end of the day, a strassed shoe is the last thing I want to see. However, this book completely changed that. Despite seeing most of the shoes already online, somehow this book presents them as new. And it includes an almost complete overview of every retailed shoe produced since starting his line. The photographs are crystal clear and totally inspiring for shoe lovers and designers alike. I myself am both and this book has given me the much needed motivation required to continue on doing what I do.
