Self Tanning Facial Lotion - Dark

I really like how silk and smooth this tanner feels! It’s not sticky tacky goop like some other brands can be and it’s really effective. Applying it went well as the product isn’t too thick or too thin, so making an even coat wasn’t an issue. It has a dark green tint which makes the product give its deep rich glow which is good for some medium toned to darker tone flesh colors. The effect is as though you’ve been in the sun deep in the tropics near the equator getting a daily golden caramel baked glow from some strong sun rays for a couple weeks. Works great and could be used for other than face in a pinch if needed...though you’ll probably want to buy a bigger bottle first because you’ll love it!!

I recently got back from a trip to mexico and this facial tanner helped me tremendously. I try to use SPF on my face all the time so my face doesn't normally get very tan. Needless to say that prior to leaving I was looking a little pasty. I initially bought this to try to use as a face contour. I've seen a few videos on tiktok. But I ended up using it all over my face. Looked cute and didn't have to risk the skin on my face getting burned by the sun to look sunkissed. Now for the boring stuff, the instructions were easy to read and the videos online were helpful. I also read people's reviews to kind of figure out what worked and didn't. Also, less is more. You can always add more.

I like it but wish it came with a cap to prevent leaks while traveling

I am a reasonably fair skinned Caucasian person whose body can become moderately tan but my face does not, just burns and freckles. I don't tan my face at all and require a self tanner that makes my face color match my body. I have tried many expensive ones, and this is the best and most reasonably priced I have found. The stain works almost immediately and dries quickly so you have to work fast to smooth it evenly over your face. I skip the step of wearing a glove to apply and wash my hands immediately afterward but usually have to scrub with a wash cloth to get the color off. if you wait several minutes, you can add another layer to deepen the color (wash hands in between layers) but I use a generous amount with the first application so I usually don't have to. Most of the other facial self tanners I have tried have not been dark enough, even with multiple applications. This gives you a noticeable tan with just one application. Warning: it comes out of the bottle very alarmingly dark but it won't be dark like that after you apply it.

(UPDATE: I have noticed the price for this item can change drastically on Amazon. It is REALLY ridiculous how a product can increase in cost by 300% in one week!! Don't buy it when it's ridiculously priced at 25-35$ or more. Put it in your cart and monitor the price fluctuations. I am really upset that I purchased this last month for $11 and now seller wants $35+!) As an avid self tanner, I find this product to be superior for my face and neck.I apply with a facial tanning mitt to avoid getting it on my hands. Can look a little odd when first applied (wet), but as long as you apply evenly and blend it with your hairline it looks good when it dries, and even better with a thin layer of foundation over the top. A little goes a long way! The gel-like self tanner spreads easily and covers well. Color is not orange or green. Looks very natural. As most self tanners, it only lasts through one or two washes, but if you apply often it's not a problem. It's best to keep your self tan fresh anyhow.

I have used a lot of facial tanners, and this one is a winner, by far the best I've tried. After only 3 applications, I see a definite difference in my skin tone. The color looks like a natural, sun-acquired tan. You only need a little, easily applied with the gloves that come with your order. I put it on at night before bed and let it dry. Protect your pillow though, as some of the tint rubs off. I really like this tanner.

This is EXTREMELY dark, yet it looks like Ash in the face. Besides, if you don't wash your hands INMEDIATLEY the COLOR will stick to it for the rest of the day, regardless how often you wash them then. If you then, wash the hand as - never advised by the product description - QUICKLY, you risk to get streaks in your face.Although, passing the pain of filthy looking hands and sleeping overnight with the product, THEN wash your face you have a slight tan. Just like going shopping, and getting a regular product with a GRATIS slap in the face. Congrats!Much prefer L'Oreal Paris Sublime Bronze Luminous Bronzer, cheaper and efficient. Downside (or upside, depends on taste) your skin (may use on the whole body) stays sparkly for one day. The tan, though lasts quite a bit. Nivea Sunkissed Beautiful Legs (you may apply on all the body, your arms will not complain being slightly tanned) gives you a slight tan, smells ok, yet if you wish to keep the already slight tan, one must apply it again and again each day.

I haven't used this product because I'm not sure if it's any good, I got the bottle that I ordered and it is extremely runny like water and the color is a greenish black gray like color which doesn't look right and the lotion that came in the sample pack is alittle thicker and that color is more of a dark brown. I don't think the product in the bottle is good so I'll be returning it.
