Abrasives Dressing Tool Stick, Grinding Wheel Tool for maximizing Grinding Wheel Performance

This works very well. I would use it maybe every third time you use your grinder to keep it square. I show it on my TY Chan Bob Ease Shop

I got my grinding wheel used and never knew a dressing stone was necessary. I've had it for years and really only use it sparingly, mainly to sharpen my mower blades. I never even knew which of my wheels were coarse and fine, they were always full of impurities. After running this on them for a couple minutes it makes a world of difference, I can easily see which is which. Highly recommend one of these!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked this because it was a stone and not metal with abrasion placed on it. This stone is the greatest. It wears down slowly and does a great job of cleaning both my fine and medium grinding wheels on my bench grinder. I would recommend this to anyone. Do not bother with the steel dressing bars.

Worked good trueing my grinding wheels. May last me a while.

Decided to try this different dressing stick than the ones I have had before. I recently bought a new wheel that was 150 grit and thought there was a slight unevenness to it and i was right. The stick flattened the grinding wheel surface quite quickly and with little to no effort. That being said i could see this stick lasting for a long time which increases its already high value. Reading the directions it says once you true the wheel up you can hone the wheel by moving the stick back and forth, fast for rougher feel and slower for smoother. I chose to do slow because I mainly use the wheel for my spindle and bowl gouges for the lathe. I cant complain. Scary sharp is the right kind of sharp.

Worked well

I bought this to clean some pretty well-embedded aluminum from my 8" grinder wheels. It didn't get the job done, and I was wondering if my wheels were too far gone for effective recovery. But, then I got the diamond grinder (Powertec 71003), available right here, and that got the job done in no time at all.This abrasive isn't as aggressive as the diamond grinder, so I figure I'll use it for "lesser" dressing needs, but if I had to pick just one, I'd go with the other one.

Je doutais de la qualité de cet article avant l'achat, alors j'ai pris une chance de l'acheter, et à ma grande surprise il fait très bien le travail. Je peux refacer ma meule et même arrondir les arrêtes et le bâton de dressage reste pratiquement intact. Très bon achat, semble dispendieux mais après utilisation il en vaut le prix. Je recommande.
