LAOPAO Kitchen Countdown Timer - Magnetic Mechanical Timer, No Battery Required

This is a great little timer for whatever you need! Very attractive retro styling, easy to use, Small and space saving. The timer is not super loud but can be carried with you easily if you move out of range. It has a magnet, feels very strong, but I haven't wanted to try putting it where it could fall. Don't forget to turn the dial past 55 min and then set it on whatever time you want. I've been buying manual timers for 40 years and they all work like this. I bought one for myself, love it, and bought one for my 80 + year old mother in law, and she loves hers!

RED! I have used this little timer several times in the past month. For the price, so far so good. The magnet is very strong. I keep it on my refrigerator. It would take effort to actually knock it off. I did check the timing the first few uses. Spot on so far. Thumbs up! So nice for cooking, home hair-color timing, cat naps etc. The alarm ring is just long enough to get your attention. Would be a great shower gift for baby or wedding. As they say, "TIMING is everything!"

The bell stopped working not even six months of using it maybe once every two weeks. Very disappointing. The company immediately reached out to me after seeing my review and graciously replaced the broken one with a brand new one that does work. I am very happy with the product now and with the prompt customer service. I was not expecting that at all. So, thank you so much to the company for resolving this matter on this amazing product. I loved the look of it, the red metal, but it broke very quickly. I would not buy.

This is easy to use and it works great and it is loud I mean it I hear it from several rooms away and over TV noise it is well worth the price the wife love it. The lights are bright too so great and the magnet are ok will stick to a fridge

I chose the green color, which I would describe as minty aqua. The magnet on the back is strong. If stuck to something like a fridge, it takes a good tug to get it off. To me, this is good because it won't fall, and I can rotate the dial without having to remove it from wherever I have it attached . The sound is a "brrrnnnng," like an old-fashioned rotary dial telephone. The alert lasts for about 4 seconds. I have found that the loudness varies, depending on the location of the timer. For me, the sound is loudest when I have it stuck to the side of my fridge. Unless there is a high amount of background noise, I can hear it easily in the next room. I have had no problems with this timer. I follow the instructions for setting it (zero the timer, clockwise rotate the timer to 55, counterclockwise rotate back to the time you want to set), and it works perfectly.

Easiest mechanical timer out there. Believe me when I say I’ve bought a ton of different timers. My son is on the spectrum and timers are a must in our daily life. I’ve tried the time timer, the learning resource timer with the light, chicken kitchen timer, all kinds of kitchen timers, digital timers, timers that have lights, timer that need batteries and timers that don’t need batteries, you name it, I’ve bought it. What a waste of money. Buy this little timer, it will save you the trouble and headache of looking for the right timer. I’ll tell you what’s right about this one 1) no need for a battery 2) ring is loud enough to hear from another room, but it’s a short and sweet ring so it’s not too obnoxious 3) It has a visual cue for how much time is left, similar to the time timer but at a fraction of the price 4) This thing is metal. So no plastic parts that snap too easy when you turn it just a tad too far 5) the magnet in the back of it is plain strong strong! It just won’t fall off, even If you Accidentally swipe Your body against it (like When it is on a fridge). You actually have to put some tug into pulling it off the surface of your fridge. So it does not have the danger of falling and breaking, or falling and bruising your foot for a week. Other less excellent timers have done that, Believe me, I know. Anyway, I got a bunch of these 2 per kid that I have. And one for me in the kitchen. All in different colors.

Update: After just two months, the magnet has weakened significantly. It will no longer stay where I put it and slides all the way down my stove. I picked this one to match my antique stove and the color is very close. It's easy to use, has a strong magnet and loud timer. I can set it in the kitchen and still hear it go off from two rooms away with the Roomba running. Which is exactly what I needed as someone who might occasionally get distracted and forget about eggs boiling on the stove...

Doesn’t ring. Looks nice but useless.
