Glideaway X-Support: Rock-Solid Bed Frame Fix with Lightning-Fast Delivery!
As a homeowner tired of a sagging queen-size bed, I purchased the Glideaway X-Support Bed Frame Support System (GS-3 XS Model) on Amazon, and it’s a game-changer! Assembly was a breeze—took me about 15 minutes solo with just a #2 Phillips screwdriver. The clear YouTube video helped align the three cross rails and legs, though the instructions were slightly vague. Its sturdy steel construction provides robust central support, eliminating my box spring’s dip and making my bed feel brand-new. The adjustable design fits full, queen, and king beds perfectly, accommodating my wooden frame. Plus, the immediate delivery was a lifesaver, arriving in two days! Highly recommend for anyone needing a quick, durable bed frame upgrade.

A great option to support your raised bed frame
I am building a bed frame that will include storage under the mattress+bunkie board. For Queen I wanted more support in the middle. This item is adjustable, easy to assemble and will do the job nicely.Pros:- adjustable - strong - non-marring fee- easy to assemble Cons:- weak shipping boxWould I purchase again: yesWould I recommend to others: yes

Great Support
Great product, easy to assemble and provides sturdy center support to my king bed. The instructions could be a little more clear- but don’t let that stop you from buying this product.

It works with metal bed frames...I have one.
I would have given this five stars, but I gave it four because of the following; there should have been three more "truss head screws and nuts" included for the leg extension pieces. Also if you have a metal bed frame, you can't screw the cross supports into the side rails unless you drill the holes yourself. I don't have a drill so I improvised. The cross support beams have a bit of a lip on the ends where they reach my bed frames side rails. I just stretched the cross supports as wide as possible with the lip of the beam overlapping my metal bed frames side rails. Even without the beams screwed into your beds side rails, once your box spring and mattress is on top it's sturdy. MUCH better than the supports I was using before. The directions weren't the best, but I figured it out. I'm a female with a queen bed so the hardest part was picking up my box spring and mattress by myself. I would suggest having someone else help with that part. Overall, it was a great purchase! It saved me from buying a whole new bed frame! I liked the one I have, but the support beams it came with were a joke! Problem solved!!Update:Today I decided I might as well try and secure the cross supports to my metal bed frame. I borrowed a drill from a friend. I went to Home Depot and this is what I bought; a DeWalt Pilot Point 3/16" (4, 8 mm) Titanium Drill Bit, #10-32 x 1-1/4" Macine Screws (10 pieces), and #10-32 Wing Nuts (10 Pieces). This all cost me less than $10. I drilled the holes in my metal bed frame where the holes are on the ends of the cross supports. The machine screws fit perfectly in the holes already in the ends of the cross support beams as well as through the holes I drilled in the side rails of my bed frame. The wing nuts made it easy for me to just hand tighten the machine screws I bought. My bed is so secure now!! OMG! I should have done this years ago! I definitely think it was worth the ten extra dollars and extra effort to make those holes in my metal bed frame to do this the right way. I figured I'm going to have my bed frame for a long time so I might as well do it right. So glad I did this....yay me!! :-)

Very sturdy!!
This support for our king bed works great! It’s very sturdy and replaced our old frame which did not have this crisscross type of extra support. Took awhile to assemble but totally pleased with the purchase!

FINALLY a solution! Your back will thank you.
My partner and I struggled for a few years (!!) with our high-end box top mattress and box springs sinking in the middle and causing us to roll towards each other in our queen bed. Our wooden bed, while newer, just didn’t come with adequate support. Seriously- they just provided an assortment of 2x4 boards. We tried to build our own center supports, which helped a little, but was lacking. After considerable research and reading the reviews on this system (along with many sleepless nights, tired days and aching backs and joints) we decided to take the plunge and invest in this. It was not completely turn-key easy to assemble, but the other reviewers helped us immensely. So, be sure to read the reviews. We did purchase extra hardware to add to the support. Unsure if it was truly necessary, but it certainly didn’t hurt. This does require attachment to the bed frame, so make sure there is enough of a lip to do so, and use a drill. I would recommend putting this together with a partner. It’s possible alone, but would be much more challenging. There is a video on YouTube that helps a little bit, but we had some initial trial and error (before drilling anything!) to figure it out. It took us about 2 hours to assemble and secure the bed. A little sweat equity went a long way- we immediately noticed a difference like night and day. We no longer roll towards each other, our backs feel better and we are sleeping so much better for nearly a year now. The product has remained in place and hasn’t shifted a bit! Very sturdy and 100% worth the investment.
