Great motion sensor. Perfect size. Easy to adjust controls. I love this thing
My first unit took me a while to install. Had to run cables in the attic, down the wall and to the wall switch in the garage. Had to make sure my wiring was correct. The unit did not work. I should have tested it first. It was too late to return for a refund or exchange. So, I ordered another one hoping the second would work. I tested it with a power cord connected to a clip on lamp. Did not work. I checked all wiring with a voltmeter. No output to load under any condition. I returned it immediately.EDIT: Update to this review. The seller reached out to me to correct the first order. He had me send him a wiring diagram to verify that it was correct. The wiring was correct. He sent me a new unit that tested good out of the box. I will be installing it this weekend.Great customer service to reach out beyond the return period. Not expected but much appreciated. This seller deserves all five stars for his stellar support.EDIT: Updating this review after final installation. I added a few more pictures. The goal was to have the motion sensor trigger both lamps at once. This wiring did it. I purchased red, black and green, 18 AWG LED speaker wire to run from the motion sensor, across the attic to the wall switch. The wiring diagram shows all of the interconnections necessary. Overall not too hard. Except for fishing the cable down from the attic to the wall plate. Had to cut a hole in the drywall and patch it back up since the wiring was directly under my attic-mounted AC unit.I am very happy with the outcome. It works and it really looks great. This SamXu unit is just the right size. Not very obvious from the street. The unit triggers very well with people walking by. But not so great with my cars approaching the garage door. That is by design. Lateral motion triggers better than directly oncoming motion.Hope this review helps someone who is thinking of doing the same.

Overall Decent Product - Great Seller as support their product
I used this motion sensor to use for my 2 outdoor garage lights. The sensor is very sensitive and picks up the littlest of movements. Its range is quite large, as for my space, I wish there was a way to reduce this a bit. The dusk/dawn feature works as it should. Installation was straight forward. Overall, this is a decent product that looks good, can be used outside and can save you a ton by buying non built in motion sensored lights. *When I first bought this product, it worked great and then malfunctioned during the cold climate. I reached out to the seller and explained what was happening and they replaced it with a new one on their dime. It was a malfunctioning unit and works during the cold climate per my testing. I would purchase more products from this seller as they back up what they sell.

Not what I expected
I bought this to trigger lights in my garage when I was in there. This unit is very small, and not intended to attach to a standard wiring box at all. It looks like the only way to hook it up is to run lamp cord into and out of it. The wires on the inside of the unit are less than 3 inches long, so depending on how you aim the sensor, they just barely reach the included terminal strip.

it works.
I've had so many motion lights over the years I had given up on them. This one is on my garage and it quit working 4 years ago. I saw this sensor on amazon and thought I would try it one more time. I had a little difficult hooking it up to my old light, but it is great. My driveway is about 75 feet long and when I turn in the light is on. I've only had it working for a couple of months but so far it is working great. Money well spent. It senses almost 180 degrees.

Pretty on the outside, defective on the inside
Two units were defective -- the relay on the inside would click, but the circuit would not close. Returned both for the less expensive, but functional Halo 180. Works fine. It's a shame as the Same is more attractive.

Better than the rest.
This really is the third sensor i tried in this patio light setup.Original sensor came with the lantern was a piece of work.Never worked right. What i did is to get rid of and look for a better sensor.Did modify just a little bit.Made it my kind of equipment"BULLET PROOF".The first item was a radar sensor with 4 star and 5 star ratings and did never worked right either.i found this sensor from amazon and works and installs the best.i give 5 star for now.i will update after how it works after sometime.

Doesn't Work for Me
My install is in a closet. I have tried every Lux setting but can't get the sensor to work as expected. Generally, it triggers on as expected. However, it fails to turn off more than half of the time. I would definitely return the unit except for the additional time and effort to uninstall from a 15 ft. ceiling and package for return. I solved my problem by actually having two sensors - the second sensor set to a 15 min cycle will trigger electricity off to the light when this sensor fails to operated as needed), Not recommended.
