Why does everyone say it's 10mm that wanders off? My 17mm identifies as a 10mm!
I have another Craftsman impact set, and I use the 17mm on my car's lugs... a while back, I had to take a long trip, and made sure to store the 17mm, a breaker bar, and a short extension in the trunk of my car, just in case. Didn't need them, and they actually set there all winter, until I was ready to rotate tires this spring. Could NOT find the 17mm. I spent several days looking through the trunk, the interior, my toolbox, my garage, my workshop... no avail. It was gone. So I joked with my wife that I can make it reappear, I'll order one! So I did, and this came in, it's great and solid, just like the one it replaced... that showed up a week after I got this one and got the job done... turns out I had "CAREFULLY" packed it in with some other tools in my meter bag that I had taken on my trip... So now this one stays in my car, and the other one is back in the rack with the rest of the set!The tool itself is about as bulletproof as you could get. The Craftsman impacts today have the same heft and feel as the old USA ones (like the one I have already) and I can't find any fault with it at all. It just works.

I had broken a socket and ordered this for a replacement it is well made marked with the size easy to see and works great and should last for a long time.

Fits my Audi
I had been using an imperial sized socket on my Audi Q5 lug bolt, but noticed bits of metal were flying everywhere when loosening with my impact driver. I looked up in the owners manual & noticed the factory recommended a 17 mm, so I got this. No more bits of metal, now. I would recommend this.
