How do you get the back light on please

Hello, there is no back light on the GARDENA watering control Master 1892-20. If no display appears and you want to reactivate it, press any button. Maybe the battery is inserted incorrectly - check the polarity markings (+/-). There is also the possibility, that the battery is low - insert a new alkaline battery. When the temperature of the display is higher than 70°, the display reappears after the temperature has dropped. Best regards GARDENA Service

Is this product wras approved?

Hello, when leaving our factory, the water control art. 1892-20 is in accordance with the harmonised EU guidelines, EU standards of safety and product specific standards. Hi. I cannot explain your problem. My unit gives good flow. Maybe there is a blockage. The unit has a filter screen in the inlet fitting, maybe something is blocking this.
